Samurai Sentai Shinkenger (侍戦隊シンケンジャー ) is a Super Sentai Series for 2009, aired together in Super Hero Time with Kamen Rider Decade. The series' motif is that of traditional Japanese culture.

The Shinkengers using the Characters Powers, these five teenagers can transform into the Shinkengers to combat the Gedoushu. Each Shinkenger has its own Origami.
Shinken Red/Shiba Takeru
Shiba Takeru is the 18th head of the Shiba family, he was passed the Shinken Red's power when he was young as his father died. He was raised by Old Man until now.
Ryunosuke Ikenami/Shinken Blue
Ryunosuke Ikenami is a very serious young man who dreamt of becoming a kabuki actor in spite of his parents' wish for him to be a samurai. He take his role as Takeru's retainer seriously.
Mako Shiraishi/Shinken Pink
Mako Shiraishi is a gentle-hearted girl who fights for her ideals. She loves helping the children and she takes Takeru as friend instead of Lord, calling him by his name.
Chiaki Tani/Shinken Green
Chiaki Tani is cheerful and honest guy, he had no interest in becoming a retainer and often clashes with Takeru. While he is the most childish of the group and had abandoned his training early, Chiaki is a great strategist and she takes Takeru as friend instead of Lord, calling him by his name.
Kotoha Hanaori/Shinken Yellow
Kotoha Hanori is a pure-hearted girl who worked in a bamboo shop and is skilled in martial arts. She became Takeru's retainer taking over her older sister fell ill. She take her role as Takeru's retainer seriously.
Gedoshu
The Gedoshu, the main villain of Shinkengers are malevolent spirits that dwell in the Sanzu River that able to go through various gaps in the living world to cause mayhem and allow the Sanzu River to flood both the land of the living and the land of the dead.
