Although he appears first in episode two of the 2008 side, Riki's debut is not till episode nine on the 1986 side. Appearing to Jiro along with Ramon immediately after his scuffle with the Frog Fangire. Asking why Jiro sided with humans, instead of eating them, the lone Wolfen simply replied with he was using them to rid himself of the Fangires. And that he and Ramon should make use of such an opportunity as well.

After Jiro recovered form the effects of the IXA system, Riki and Ramon were checked in on. After being mocked for his and Ramon's new lifestyles as a Masseur and a Shoeshine boy. They both stated that they'd rather live in hiding for the time being rather than risk death by the Fangires, or even the Humans. Even going far enough to say that Jiro is just the same. Yet despite the similar situation, Jiro disagreed. Shortly explaining that not only did he wish to eliminate the Fangires, but to bring his Wolfen race back from the brink of extinction.

Later on, Riki and Ramon provided service to Aso Yuri and Kurenai Otoya. As the two conversed, Riki provided a back massage, which Otoya finely complimented on. Yet when Otoya only slightly pointed his antics at Ramon did he start to use slightly more painful techniques to keep Otoya quiet.

Sometime later after he and Ramon found Jiro watching Otoya and Yuri from afar, bringing up that if Jiro loses his chance with Yuri that there won't be any more Wolfen, Jiro brought Riki along to his group date that Yuri and her friend arranged. Mostly just staying quiet and snaking on appetizers, and even making small attempts to eat his own plate, all the while Jiro and Otoya constantly inflicted pain on one another. Nothing very much happened till one of the other women, Ayumi, decided to quit swooning over Jiro and directed her attention to Riki. After she commented on his reclusive ways being absolutely "dandy", Riki then let out a rather questionably vulgar remark. Intentionally trying to offend her, he succeeded in making her leave. Following her shortly thereafter, he cut her off as she was likely heading for an exit. When she asked what he wanted, he started to slowly revert into his true form, but not before saying grace.

Eventually returning to the table, Yuri was curious as to where Ayumi was. After stating that she left, Riki decided to leave since he didn't quite have his fill and the table was uneven. Eventually finding someone whom seemed to be able to rid him of his hunger. It soon turned out that this person was also being targeted by the Chameleon Fangire. After getting between the Fangire and his prey, Riki quickly reverted to his original form.

Even though the Fangire made a successful first move, I luckily proved futile. Despite whatever the Fangire could do he was no match to Riki's superior strength. Unfortunately after hitting the Fangire back and forth numerous times, Riki was unable to finish him as he quickly turned invisible as soon as he got some significant distance. But with the competition gone, the prey the Fangire set his sites on before was now all for the taking. Knocking the woman unconscious, Riki was able to suck her life force from her body, finally subsiding his hunger.

Sometime later, Riki and Ramon found themselves being evicted. After a city official notified them that their setting up business without permission from the city was against the law, Jiro showed up not surprised that they were having a hard time as well. As Ramon was accepting of his current position in life, and as the shop's roof was falling all down on Riki, Jiro told the two to follow him. Repaying the two for both individually helping him in the past, Jiro got the both of them part time jobs as waiters at Mald'amour.

Later that day after Yuri had made various failed omelet dishes, which Ramon was used as test subject for and proved his stomach couldn't handle. Riki decided to sample it, despite Yuri's warning. After finding it to be quite enjoyable, Riki instantly fell for Yuri. This lead to Ramon trying to teach him how to express himself to a woman in a local park the next day. But unexpectedly, Otoya showed up with a megaphone. After explaining what they were doing, Otoya, while using the megaphone, proclaimed that he would take over doing so and then went on to promote himself.

A day or so later, Riki asked Yuri to meet him at an outdoor cafe. When she arrived he started to repeat what Otoya had told him to, despite his rather slow manner of talking and the megaphone he borrowed from Otoya constantly putting off a high pitch as he spoke into it. But after Yuri blatantly knew it was the work of Otoya, even though Riki denied it, Jiro appeared saying that Otoya had left, appearing and disappearing just like the clouds. However as Yuri refused to believe, he then claimed that the truth was that a Fangire had killed him. Yuri still not buying it, demanded to know where Otoya was. But was Jiro was apparently in the mood for anything that had to do with Otoya, he simply knocked her unconscious all the while Riki had blatantly been standing by.

Sometime later as Ramon and Riki were operating their own flavored Ice stand, Jiro paid them a visit. As he requested their help in killing Rook, Otoya, who was sitting near by, mistakenly thought that Jiro was asking for his help. After Otoya questioned their abilities, Ramon and Riki briefly revealed to him their true forms, much to his shocked surprise. After he proclaimed that the problems of monsters were the business of monsters, and ran away. But as Jiro also stated that killing Rook was also for Yuri, he stopped and agreed to help. Unfortunately since Jiro and Otoya wanted Yuri left out of it, they charged Riki with dressing up as Rook and act as a decoy Rook to distract Yuri from the actual battle.

Later on after being discovered by Yuri, tracking Rook down with the others and lost to him, they all regrouped back at Otoya's where the monsters were mocked by Otoya for losing to Rook. As they were at a loss of what to do, Yuri proclaimed that she had an idea. After Jiro and Otoya later pretended to chase Yuri through a warehouse with IXA, and soon handing it over to Rook, Riki and Ramon then joined them to fight Rook once again. With everyone acting as though they were losing to Rook, as IXA weighted his strength down since he was technically stronger than the System, IXA's overheating point was finally reached and deactivated. Fooling Rook into being weakened by the system's harmful effects, this gave everyone the shot they needed to deliver Rook the beating they've all been working towards. As the tide of battle was entirely against Rook, Yuri look the liberty to finally finish him off.

Sometime later after the King of the Fangires started to try and kill off Riki, Ramon and Jiro, then trying to strike back at King through going after Queen, and losing to her in battle, the trio found themselves once again on the run. As King cornered them into a mist filled forest, he proclaimed that there was only one road for the likes of them to follow; extinction. As Riki and the others prepared to fight him, King released one light blast from his tattoo, forcing them all on their backs to the ground. As the three seemed to lose hope in their situation, King proposed that he'd allow and alternative under one condition, to kill Kurenai Otoya.

With little choice as neither wanted their respective races extinct, Riki and Ramon called Otoya over to their new massage booth. As they performed their trade, Otoya asked them what it was they wanted to talk about. When Ramon pointed out that since Otoya had helped him and Ramon out in the past, they decided to repay him with free service as an expression of gratitude all the while unbenownst to Otoya, Riki lifted up a huge hammer. However as he couldn't bring himself to do it, he pounded away at the ground, claiming he tried to kill a fly.

Knowing that Jiro also failed, the three monsters met with each other on a small path in a woodland area. With only one option now left for them to choose, they had to flee. Knowing King would hunt them, they each went their separate ways. Making it more difficult for King to find them. Unfortunately, King soon found Riki. As he tried to flee for his life, King easily captured and sealed him well without even taking a single step from where he stood.

Sometime later, after inexplicably finding themselves outside of Doran and fleeing, Riki, Ramon and Jiro were approached by Otoya as they watched on as Doran was going berserk without occupants. As they noticed that Otoya was dying but acting as though he were fine, Otoya suggested they go in it. Otoya recalling their not so honest methods in their activities in the past, he proposed they do something to change that. As Jiro inquired as to what Otoya had in mind, he told them that he'd have a son. Claiming that he wouldn't have much guidance in his life, Otoya expressed his desire in the monsters' help. As Jiro said that it wasn't wise to make promises between a Human and a Monster, he claimed they might break the promise or even eat the child. As they looked out into the distance, Otoya told him that his son's life was then on in their care.

As the Dogga Hammer

At some point between the 22 year gap. Riki, along with Jiro and Ramon, make a Darkness Pledge with Kurenai Otoya. This contract extended to the use of Otoya's son, Wataru, to become the Dogga Hammer. Influencing Wataru with the monster's burly personality bestowing him with monster's unbelievable strength. In the time of the pledge, Riki acts as Castle Doran's Butler. But seemingly spends all his time playing Jiro and Ramon in various games to kill time when not used in battle.

He is the last of the Arms Monsters to leave the castle. As opposed to the other monster' fighting skill or accuracy being transferred to Wataru, his immense superior strength is bestowed instead. Among the three, Riki was the one who suggested to simply eat Wataru to be free again as opposed to just killing him, but Jiro quickly reminded Riki and Ramon of their pledge.

When Wataru went a step further in the power of Kiva by unlocking Flight Form, It was Riki who discovered the location of the Zanvat Sword within the confines of Doran as Wataru's transformation shook Doran's foundations. After Ramon had tried to take it but was not physically strong enough, Riki decided to go at it. Yet despite his great strength, the sword rejected him and was unable to claim the great weapon as his own. Unfortunately after Jiro had called for Wataru to see if he could claim the sword, Wataru had failed. Luckily after Jiro approached Wataru again to give him another chance at power, he finally did take it, but the sword caused his Fangire side to send him into a raging bloodlust. After dodging and trying to free Wataru from the swords influence, Riki, Ramon and Jiro then combined to become the Zanvat-Bat. Inhibiting the sword's power over Wataru.
