Character synopsis

Although he appears very late in episode two of the 2008 side, Ramon's debut is not till episode eight of the 1986 side of the story. After Aso Yuri had left for home form Mald'amour, Ramon appeared before her in his true form, possibly intending to eat her. But after easily dodging Yuri's blade whip and firing more high velocity shots of water at her, he gave chase and eventually pinned her down under some construction equipment. Fortunately for Yuri, Jiro appeared and fended Ramon away. Immediately returning after Yuri passed out in Jiro's arms, Ramon asked Jiro (who apparently could tell that Jiro was not human) why he had helped her, believing that it was he who was responsible for eating Mald'amour's regulars.
He, along with the Franken, Riki, spoke with Jiro after his scuffle with Omura Takeo(the Frog Fangire). Asking why Jiro sided with humans, instead of eating them. The lone Wolfen simply replied with he was using them to rid himself of the Fangires, and that he and Riki should make use of such an opportunity as well.
After Jiro recovered form the effects of the IXA system, Ramon and Riki were checked in on. After being mocked for his and Riki's new lifestyles as a Shoeshine boy and a Masseur. They both stated that they'd rather live in hiding for the time being rather than risk death by the Fangires, or even the Humans. Even going far enough to say that Jiro is just the same. Yet despite the similar situation, Jiro disagreed. Shortly explaining that not only did he wish to eliminate the Fangires, but to bring his Wolfen race back from the brink of extinction.
Later on, Ramon and Riki provided service to Aso Yuri and Kurenai Otoya when the two stopped at their booth. As the two conversed, Ramon polished Yuri's shoes. With her attention turned away from Otoya, Yuri asked how old Ramon was. Claiming to be 105, Yuri simply took it as a joke and paid him 1000 yen for his services. After Otoya and Yuri left, he complimented on Yuri knowing that Jiro was listening in from the rafters above. But with a serious look on his face, Jiro looked down and said that he needed help from Ramon.
During Jiro and Otoya's fight, Ramon stepped in to turn the tables on Otoya. First making use of his long ranged water attacks to get Otoya off of Jiro, the two monsters double-teamed Otoya till IXA's overheating point and deactivation. But just as the Killing blow as to be dealt, Yuri came along looking for Otoya. Ramon quickly retreated to the bushes to not be discovered by her.
Returning to his Riki's place of business, Jiro thanked Ramon for helping him get back IXA. Ramon not in the similar spirits, told Jiro to not bring him into those situations. Reminding him again that he and Riki wish to not risk exposure to the Fangires and that they're the last of their kinds.
Sometime later, Ramon and Riki found themselves being evicted. After a city official notified him that their setting up business without permission from the city was against the law, Jiro showed up not surprised that they were having a hard time as well. As Ramon was accepting of his current position in life, which just so happened to be in the way of the people confiscating his and Riki's belongings, Jiro told the two to follow him. Repaying the two for both individually helping him in the past, Jiro got the both of them part time jobs as waiters at Mald'amour.

A day or so after after bing a test subject to Yuri's cooking, which Ramon's stomach couldn't handle, he took the liberty of trying to teach Riki how to express himself to a woman as Riki took differently to Yuri's cooking. But unexpectedly, Otoya showed up with a megaphone. After explaining what they were doing, Otoya, while using the megaphone, proclaimed that he would take over doing so and then went on to promote himself.
Sometime later as Ramon and Riki were operating their own flavored Ice stand, Jiro paid them a visit. As he requested their help in killing Rook, Otoya, who was sitting near by, mistakenly thought that Jiro was asking for his help. After Otoya questioned their abilities, Ramon and Riki briefly revealed to him their true forms, much to his shocked surprise. After he proclaimed that the problems of monsters were the business of monsters, and ran away. But as Jiro also stated that killing Rook was also for Yuri, he stopped and agreed to help.
Later on after they tracked Rook down and lost to him, they all regrouped back at Otoya's where the monsters were mocked by Otoya for losing to Rook. As they were at a loss of what to do, Yuri proclaimed that she had an idea. After Jiro and Otoya later pretended to chase Yuri through a warehouse with IXA, and soon handing it over to Rook, Ramon and Riki then joined them to fight Rook once again. With everyone acting as though they were losing to Rook, as IXA weighted his strength down since he was technically stronger than the System, IXA's overheating point was finally reached and deactivated. Fooling Rook into being weakened by the system's harmful effects, this gave everyone the shot they needed to deliver Rook the beating they've all been working towards. As the tide of battle was entirely against Rook, Yuri took the liberty to finally finish him off.
Sometime later after the King of the Fangires started to try and kill off Ramon, Jiro and Riki, then trying to strike back at King through going after Queen, and losing to her in battle, the trio found themselves once again on the run. As King cornered them into a mist filled forest, he proclaimed that there was only one road for the likes of them to follow; extinction. As Ramon and the others prepared to fight him, King released one light blast from his tattoo, forcing them all on their backs to the ground. As the three seemed to lose hope in their situation, King proposed that he'd allow and alternative under one condition, to kill Kurenai Otoya.
With little choice as neither wanted their respective races extinct, Ramon and Riki called Otoya over to their new massage booth. As they performed their trade, Otoya asked them what it was they wanted to talk about. When Ramon pointed out that since Otoya had helped him and Riki out in the past, they decided to repay him with free service as an expression of gratitude all the while unbeknownst to Otoya, Riki lifted up a huge hamer. However as he couldn't bring himself to do it, he pounded away at the ground, claiming he tried to kill a fly.
Knowing that Jiro also failed, the three monsters met with each other on a small path in a woodland area. With only one option now left for them to choose, they had to flee. Knowing King would hunt them, they each went their separate ways. Making it more difficult for King to find them. Unfortunately, King soon found Ramon. Despite trying to fight back, King easily subdued and sealed him, purposing the idea of making him a decoration.

Sometime later, after inexplicably finding themselves outside of Doran and fleeing, Ramon, Riki and Jiro were approached by Otoya as they watched on as Doran was going berserk without occupants. As they noticed that Otoya was dying but acting as though he were fine, Otoya suggested they go in it. Otoya recalling their not so honest methods in their activities in the past, he proposed they do something to change that. As Jiro inquired as to what Otoya had in mind, he told them that he'd have a son. Claiming that he wouldn't have much guidance in his life, Otoya expressed his desire in the monsters' help. As Jiro said that it wasn't wise to make promises between a Human and a Monster, he claimed they might break the promise or even eat the child. As they looked out into the distance, Otoya told him that his son's life was then on in their care.
As the Basshaa Magnum

At some point between the 22 year gap. Ramon, along with Jiro and Riki, make a Darkness Pledge with Kurenai Otoya. This contract extended to the use of Otoya's son, Wataru, to become the Basshaa Magnum. Influencing Wataru with calm and focused personality and bestowing the monster's exceptional Marksmanship as well.In the time of the pledge, Ramon, acts as Castle Doran's Housekeeper. But seemingly spends all his time playing Jiro and Ramon in various games to kill time when not used in battle.
He is the second of the Arms Monsters to leave the castle. Among the three, Ramon suggested killing Wataru for the possibility of freedom with Riki saying that they should just eat him instead. But Jiro quickly reminded Riki and Ramon of their pledge.
When the Zanvat sword appeared in a wall within Doran as Wataru unlocked Flight Form, Jiro soon called for Wataru to see if he could claim the sword, as evidenced of Ramon and Riki failing to take it for themselves. After Wataru had failed to take it the first time, Jiro called Wataru in again. When Wataru had finally done so, the sword caused his Fangire side to send him into a raging bloodlust. After dodging and trying to free Wataru from the swords influence, Ramon, Jiro and Riki then combined to become the Zanvat-Bat. Inhibiting the sword's power over Wataru.
