We are first introduced to Nago Keisuke while in the process of capturing a bounty head. After infiltrating said target's room pretending to serve coffee and fighting off his henchmen, Nago chased the target out into a public pedestrian area. As the man took hold of a young adolescent girl, Nago quickly intervened. After removing the bamboo practice sword from his hands and freeing the girl, Nago went on to repeatedly hit the man in precise areas with the sword until he was down. As he made his way off after staying until the police arrived, Nago was approached by a confused young man and the young girl he saved earlier. Thinking the young man wanted something, Nago told him that he can be found at Mald'amour since he was at the moment busy.

After hearing of Aso Megumi's numerous encounters with Kiva, and trying to get permission from Shima Mamoru to kill him, Nago decided to head down to Mald'amour. Walking in through the door, he was instantly greeted by the young man from before. But as he tried to talk to him, Megumi kept trying to get in as she an the man had known each other previously.Yet despite her pleas that she was trying to help him first, Nago tried to dismiss her, thinking she would only make the man more timid.

After hearing the young man's,Kurenai Wataru, plight, Nago though that instead of pondering, he should act instead. After suggesting that maybe he should do something for those his father offended, Nago recognized someone who was wanted by the authorities. After apprehending the the criminal, Tachikawa Yuuji, and dragging him out of the cafe and taking his button, Wataru asked Tachikawa if he knew the name, Kurenai Otoya. After hearing it, Tachikawa then membered and realized that it was because of Otoya ruining his life that he became a swindler in the first place.

Later on as Nago was making his way through town, he spotted Wataru while he was taking to the advice Nago gave him earlier, however Megumi was trying to talk him out of it. As she was saying that he wasn't under any legal obligation, Nago claiming that it was a problem with how Wataru felt about his father. As Wataru went on his way, Megumi claimed that she thought that he feels he needs people weaker than himself so he can look down on them. Eventually the two part ways after Nago openly stated that Megumi's analyzing him is a pointless way to get ahead of him.

Sometime later while dineing at Mald'amour, Wataru approached Nago begging to be his disciple. After Wataru stated that he wasn't pleased with his personality, that he was cowardly, grim and very shy, Nago asked why he wanted to be under him. After Wataru proclaimed what he thought of Nago, Nago accepted him and charged him with the task of looking after Megumi.

Unfortunately later in the day, Wataru was caught. As Megumi accused him of making Wataru spy on and steal from her. With Nago confused about the stealing part of the story, Wataru explained that it was instruction from the other "guard" sent to protect Megumi. But Nago quickly disregarded that, saying that he had no one else on it and that Wataru was tricked by someone stalking Megumi. Not caring much about that, Megumi expressed that she was more bothered by the fact that Nago had someone pry into her privacy, something she hates the most.

Sometime after Megumi's capture at the hands of the Sheep Fangire, escaping and Nago encountering Kiva for the first time, Nago decided to visit Megumi in the hospital. As it was apparent that Megumi was checking herself out while Wataru and Shizuka visited. Nago insisted that she didn't, despite Megumi accusing him that he just wanted her out of the way.

Later in the day, Shima brought up a new lead on a string of possible Fangire attacks. As recent customers of the restaurant, Maison Cercueil, had gone missing, they believed it to be the work of a Fangire. So with that in mind, Nago personally sought out Wataru for assistance. Knowing Megumi was going to use him since the restaurant only served a certain number of people at a time, Nago sent Wataru in to infiltrate and gather information as a waiter at Maison Cercueil. As Megumi found this out during their investigation, Megumi protested. Claiming that the situation is too dangerous for him to be involved in this deep. But as the two continued to argue with one another, the restaurant's owner, Inukai, ceased the fight and asked them to leave.

Sometime later after being assigned to be the user of the IXA System and Megumi imploring that she be the user instead, Nago ran into Omura Takeo, who had been wanted under carious charges of assault. However as he seemed to be just another disgruntled criminal, Omura soon transformed into the Frog Fangire, and escaped. Luckily Nago caught up to him. As Omura again reverted to his true form, Nago then activated the IXA System. After a short scuffle and interruption from Wataru defending Omura, the Fangire escaped.

Sometime later Nago went to talk to Wataru at Wataru's request. After Wataru asked him what the Fangires are, and then openly pondering if they're not all evil, Nago remarked that all Fangires are humanity's foes. As Wataru brought up a scenario of that there might not be Fangires who feast on humans, Nago quickly interjected. Stating that they're all evil no matter what, and that he is always correct.

Later on after finding Omura, losing him in a construction area, and finding him again soon after by a lakeside, they did battle again. After both transformed, they engaged each other. Omura using a sword, and Nago using the sword feature of the IXA Calibur. After crossing blades and landing various strikes on Omura, Nago then performed the IXA Judgment. Successfully striking Omura, Nago then left the cracked and shattering Fangire on his knees, knowing he wouldn't survive much longer.

Sometime later as Megumi was running laps at a local track, Nago deciding to join her. The two soon found themselves trading snobbish comments of one another as they ran. But mid lap, Megumi felt something in the air. Looking towards the stands, she saw a familiar figure retreat out of site. As Nago eventually found him, he reverted into the Spider Fangire. Prepared, Nago activated IXA and engaged the Fangire. As fight was pretty much in Nago's favor, the Fangire shot a line of web at Nago, temporarily restraining him long enough for the Fangire to make an escape up the side of a near by building.

Taking an elevator lift up to the helicopter pad of the building the Fangire crawled up to. Rather than eliminating the Fangire, Nago noticed Kiva, and took him as a Higher priority. After knocking the Fangire out of the way with the IXAlion, Nago dismounted with the IXAcalibur in hand and charged after proclaiming he desire to kill Kiva. After Kiva blocked the strikes Nago made against him,Nago transferred to gun mode and inflicted much more damage. With Kiva on his knees, Nago mounted the IXAlion, revved up the engine, changed the IXAcalibur to sword mode and rode towards Kiva. With one great swing, Nago forced Kiva off the building and into the close by river, much to Nago's great delight.

Sometime later after reporting his victory to Shima, despite having been given no orders what so ever about eliminating Kiva, Nago managed to find Wataru with a stranger in a local park. After offering the two some bottled Water, Nago noticed Wataru flinch in pain. After examining Wataru's apparent dislocated forearm, Nago took the liberty of popping it back into place. Using his scarf, Nago fashioned a crude sling for Wataru. After doing so, he noticed the pair of guitars laying on the ground. Deducing that they were musicians, Nago implored for them to stop and do something more constructive for society. But as the dual hair colored stranger wouldn't have any of it, he then decided to play a tune. As Nago told him to cease his playing, he didn't. After telling him to stop again, Nago hit the musician to the ground, warning the stranger to not make him say the same thing twice.

Later in the day, After running into the Spider Fangire again and being informed of Kiva's survival, Nago decided to use the Fangire as bait in order to lure Kiva to him. As the Fangie abducted Megumi, Kiva had arrived just a planned. Activating IXA, Nago started his assault through Firearms. As the Fangire made another attempt to attack Kiva, Nago shot him off, claiming that the Fangire's part was over. As the Fangire ran, Kiva attempted the same. Mounting the IXAlion, Nago rode out and noticed that Kiva stopped right in front of him on his own bike. Seconds later, Kiva had summoned a large object that covered and enhanced his bikes capabilities.

Standoff.png

As they took their fight to the road, the assistance of bike enhancement made it futile for Nago to shoot and decided to take it close. Eventually arriving in a quarry of sorts, the two faced one another directly. Revving their engines, they both rode towards each other and jumped off their bikes and performed their own powerful kicks. However due to the extra boost, Kiva came out the victor in the end. Falling off in a muddy puddle as IXA deactivated, Nago refused to believe that he lost and blamed losing on the IXA system instead.

Sometime later after Nago had viciously beaten one of his bounty heads in public and was arrested, Shima bailed him out of holding. After getting into a discussion over his or IXA's defeat at the hands of Kiva, Shima brought up that Nago was not aware of the IXA Sytem's new capabilities. Both he and Megumi confused over what Shima was talking about. Shima then proclaimed that the IXA System was in the process of receiving a new feature to it's arsenal.

After Shima reveled this new feature to be the Powered IXER and used this to fight and destroy a Sabbat, Nago was soon then back on the job. This time hunting down attempted back thief, Sakaguchi Sakichi as he was performing his latest crime. After Nago proclaimed his desire for Sakaguchi's button in comemoration for his latest capture, he failed to remove one. As a result of being preocupied with removing his button, Sakaguchi was able to shake Nago off and deliver a short beating, which then allowed him to escape.

Chasing him all day all over town, Nago finally caught up with him later. Hellbent on obtaining one of Sakaguchi's buttons more than Sakaguchi himself, Nago unknowingly allowed himself to be distracted by Sakaguchi revealing himself to be the Seastar Fangire. This distraction unfortunately earned Nago another longer beating before Sakaguchi went off for his own means.

Later tracking him down to a local outdoor theater, Nago's attention was changed from Sakaguchi to Kiva. After activating IXA, Nago then noticed Kiva had summoned one of his weapons. Having the answer for this, Nago then utilized a Garulu Fake, stealing Kiva's sword before he could take hold. With the sword in hand, Nago went straight for Kiva, even by going through and ignoring Sakaguchi. After making various strikes on him with his own sword and shooting him with the IXA Calibur, Nago was unfortunately hit by an electrical bolt shot from Sakaguchi. As this seemingly caused Kiva and Sakaguchi to escape, Nago threw a short fit by shooting wildly into the air before deactivating IXA and punching the wall repeatedly with his bare fist.

The next day as Nago tracked Sakaguchi to the countryside, he attacked him just as he was fighting Megumi. Donning IXA, Nago furiously beat the Fangire with the IXA Calibur, forcing him into his Human guise. Deactivating IXA, Nago once again tried to take a button from Sakaguchi's jacket. Unfortunately as he tried to, the police arrived, arresting Sakaguchi and preventing Nago from claiming another button.

As the police were escorting Sakaguchi from holding to a penitentiary, Nago intercepted. After quickly taking out the surrounding officers, Nago took the wheel, with Sakaguchi in back, and drove him to an secluded location. Beating him down to the ground, Nago finally got what he wanted. Revaling in the moment, ignoring the fact that Sakaguchi punched him and went off, Nago simply laughed with joy over his latest addition to his collection.

KivaisBad.png

Some days later, as Kengo had been telling Wataru of his thoughts on Kiva, Nago entered, claiming that Kiva was a great threat who previously attempted to destroy humanity in the past and that he's more dangerous than any Fangire. However as Wataru seemed to have disagreed, Megumi walked through the entrance doors of Mald'amour, backing him up. After she seemed to agree with Wataru on that Kiva might not be a threat at all based on his rescues of her, Kengo brought up seeing a fortune teller to find out Kiva's identity. Liking the idea, the two then tried to get Wataru to tag along. In doing so, Nago also decided to come as well based on how psychics were used to help solve some of the F.B.I.'s unsolved cases.

Eventually arriving at the fortune teller's, the four could do nothing but sit quietly behind while he chanted. As the fortune teller ended his chanting, he said that Kiva holds a terrifying secret. However after being asked what the secret was, he collapsed. Not surprised that the fortune teller failed, Nago began to leave. However as he was making his way across the room, all soon realized that Wataru had passed out.

Later in the day as Nago and Kengo made their way through the woods, despite Kengo's pestering, they soon encountered the Ladybug Fangire. After failing to activate IXA and losing his grip on the IXA Knuckle, Nago resorted to fighting it with his fists just a Megumi arrived on the scene as back up. Tag teaming the Fangire, the two managed to beat him back quite efficiently together. But as the battle was looking to be won, the Fangire unfortunately managed to get a hold of Nago, using him as a shield from Megumi's gun. Unfortunately this would end Nago's fight with the Fangire as it threw him at Megumi, knocking him out.

Later on after being taken to an unused warehouse by the Ladybug Fangire and apparently earning Kengo's respect, the Ladybug Fangire got tired of waiting for Megumi to show up, thinking she was the user of the IXA System. As a day or so passed, the Fangire gre impatient and decided to eat Nago and Kengo, but luckily Megumi showed up in time. After holding the Fangire off on hew own for a while, Megumi managed to free the two and tossed the IXA Knuckle to Nago. After activating IXA, the two then continued their previous fight with the Fangire. After Nago had struck the Fangire with the IXA Judgment, it then turned into a Sabbat. When Nago called for the Powered IXER, it proved that it didn't fare well against the giant monstrosity. However soon enough, Kiva appeared with his castle dragon. After attacking the Sabbat along with Kiva and destroying it, Kiva fled the scene.

Sometime later as Nago enjoyed a cup of coffee at Mald'amour, he was once again visited by Kengo. This time referring to Nago as "master". Confused by this, Kengo explained that he wished to be Nago's pupil so that he could show him a pure way of Rock. As he came to his knees to beg, Wataru then approached the two, recommending that he allow Kengo under his wing. As Nago told the two of his despise for Rock, he proclaimed that even if he did take him under his wing, what would he regularly pay back in return. As Megumi claimed he was being too up-tight, Nago meerly claimed that he was teaching Kengo something about the real world.

The next day as Nago was once again enjoying some coffee, Kengo brought up the proposition of compensating money for girls via a group date. Uninterested due to rumors that he had previously heard, Nago's interest took a sudden turn when Megumi and Wataru both decided to join in.

When the date began, and everyone started making their orders. When it came to Wataru, he couldn't decide. When Megumi just teased him to try and order something, the one girl, Keiko, tried to vouch for Wataru. After the waitress had written down their orders, she had mistakenly began to repeat the list the orders wrong and was promptly corrected when Nago repeated the entire order from memory.

Bothersome.png

Later as the date went on, the other girl, Sachie, insisted on asking Nago various things such as his interests and hobbies. Finally asking why she inquired on these things, she simply claimed that she was attracted to Nago. Despite claiming that he had no desire to associate with people who took interest in him by the first meeting, it seemingly didn't have any effect on her interest.

A little while after Nago took part in the date's antics in his own subtle way, the waitress whom had been serving them during their stay had unfortunately tripped as she was carrying small bowls of ice cream. Spilling them on Wataru and Nago, who was not quite pleased about it, complained to the manager.

Sometime later after running into the Chameleon Fangire and railing to eliminate it, Nago was on the trail of the small time thief, Takeuchi Shinji. After chasing him through a pedestrian area, Takeuchi revealed himself to be the Grizzly Fangire and unfortunately escaped. Despite finding him later in the day, Nago was unable to overpower the Fangire, even with the help of IXA.

Later on, after overhearing Shima and Megumi discuss turning over the IXA System to another user, Nago and Megumi were called into action as the spider and Shark Fangires were in the process of preying on the waitress from the group date, Suzuki Mio. Unfortunately just as Nago was activating IXA, the Shark Fangire threw Megumi into Nago, causing him to lose grip of the IXA System and falling into the hands of the Spider Fangire.

As he reported this, Shima inquired as to how he was going to take responsibility for his error. However instead of taking the blame, Nago proclaimed that the fault lied with Megumi. Fed up with Nago's attitude, he questioned why Nago refused to acknowledge his weaknesses and failures. As Nago openly believed he had none, Shima then proclaimed that he was no longer trustworthy of the IXA System.

Later in the day, Nago and Megumi eventually had their rematch with the Spider as he attempted to go after Mio once again. Although they were lucky enough to distract him as Mio got away, the fight turned for the worse when the Spider activated and donned IXA. After he made short work of the two, Megumi suddenly used his affection for her against him, playing him into his desires. After finally getting him to deactivate IXA by reeling him in for a kiss, she landed a solid kick to his groin. Taking the belt and the IXA Knuckle from him, she quickly tossed them over to Nago. As Nago activated IXA, he made short work of the Fangire before he retreated.

AccordingToPlan.png

Having the IXA Sytem back in custody, he went back to Shima. Arriving in tears, Nago flat out admitted to IXA being stolen was his fault. As he claimed that he was weak and undeserving, he presented Shima the IXA Knuckle, prepared to hand it over. However Shima claimed it wasn't necessary. Stating that Nago had finally acknowledged his faults and weaknesses, he was then worthy of wielding IXA. Clenching the IXA Nuckle against himself, Nago only but ginned to himself in self satisfaction.

Sometime later, after receiving the recently upgraded IXA, he and Shima visited Megumi in holding after she was arrested under charges of robbery. As she pleaded to them to believe her that she had done no such thing, Nago expresses that as a Bounty Hunter, he wished that it was he that brought her in. However shortly after the incident, Shima was under arrest under charges for murder. After visiting Shima, deducing that someone was framing Blue Sky Org members.

After being told to stay on his toes as he may be targeted as well, Nago enlisted Kengo's help as there were not enough Blue Sky members near by to help keep the Fangires at bay and investigate why they were being arrested. As Kengo expressed his joy in the matter, they were soon made aware of the presence of a Fangire. Coming to the aid of a young woman being chased by the Crab Fangire, Nago immediately intercepted it. After getting it away, he then activated IXA. However after he ran into a small bit of trouble from the Fangire, Nago then decided to transfer to Rising IXA. With the IXA Riser in hand, he shot back at the Crab, however as the Fangire was shot back into a river, Nago as well was thrown back by the sheer force of the recoil, forcing IXA into deactivation.

As a poice officer then appeared, confiscating the IXA Knuckle, he proclaimed that Nago was wanted for robbery. As they tried to apprehend him, Nago forced them off him and attempted to escape. After immediately noticing a nearby car, Nago hopped in and told the driver to drive. As he was removing the handcuffs, Nago sked the driver where he was going. As the stranger proclaimed that he knew of the operations of the Blue Sky Org and it's personell, he claimed that he was taking Nago to where the incident all began.

After arriving at an abandoned art studio, the stranger claimed that the very house was the root of why he was bent for revenge against the Blue Sky Org. As Nago was confused on the matter, the stranger, Tanahashi, claimed that the Blue Sky Org was responsible for ruining his life twenty-two year previously. As he explained that he had finally found a model that he could use to paint with all his skill, a previous user of IXA had put him a coma for a year due to a large error on the user's part. And after he had awoke, he was unable to find the model again. Since then, he rose to power amongst the ranks within the Police and is now using them to frame members of the Blue Sky Organization. As Nago asked why Tanahashi told him this, he simply said that he wanted him to know how and why he felt. No matter what Nago would do, he wouldn't get away.

Later on after meeting up with Kengo again, they then decided to heat to Wataru's for protection. As Kengo tried to get Wataru to help out, Shizuka advised against it as he might then be viewed as being an accomplice to a fugitive. After Nago explained that the Wonderful Blue Sky Org members were being framed for various crimes all because of the actions of a past user of the IXA System, he decided to left as he heard police sirens closing in. As he was running through a nearby park, Nago's path was cut short by the appearance of a man in a tuxedo, claiming to rewrite the wrongs that have been done. As Nago expressed his confusion, the stranger told him it was up to himself whether he believed the stranger's story or not. And with that said, the stranger seemingly summoned Kiva's dragon castle from beneath the ground.

After entering the beast, the stranger showed Nago a door. Curious as to what it was, the stranger explained that it was called the Door of Time. When Nago asked if he could use this to go back in time to fix what has gone wrong, the stranger claimed that the door rarely should be allowed to open, but a promise he made to someone to protect the Blue Sky Org has forced his hand. After only lightly touching the door, it immediately flung open and pulled him in as the stranger stated that he'd be going to the year 1986.

When.png

Appearing in the middle of the city, Nago soon discovered that he was standing on top of a guard rail over a canal. As he was losing his balance a stranger came running to his aid, thinking that Nago was attempting to kill himself. As the stranger tried to persuade him down. However as Nago claimed that the stranger was mistaken, they both unfortunately fell off into the canal.

After he awoke in a strange bed, Nago noticed the stranger and the woman he was with over him. When he asked if the year was indeed 1986, the woman confirmed it for him, even marking that the day was now to be a day of future anniversaries. As the stranger, Otoya, went on to preach that in the future it would be a holiday, since the he and the woman, Yuri had now started to live together. However Nago wasn't enthusiastic of their happiness and remarked on how improper it was for a man and a woman to live under one roof and not be married.

Later on, after making his way back to Tanahashi's studio again, he decided to watch over him until he'd meet up with the past user of IXA. However as he was observing the scene from outside, Nago noticed the Cicada Fangire. After engaging it, his luck in battle wasn't quite as effective without the aid of the IXA System. As the Fangire continued to beat him down, it was soon shot away by a large blast of energy. Getting up, Nago noticed it was Otoya armed with the IXA Knuckle. After Otoya remarked on how he had to save the stranger yet again he then activated IXA, much to Nago's disbelief.

After Otoya had fended off the Fangire, Nago decided to take IXA by force he demanded that Otoya hand IXA over. However as Otoya caught Nago's punch, he inquired as to how Nago knew of IXA and who he was. And as per asked, Nago explained that he was from 22 year into the future, and is a future agent of the Wonderful Blue Sky Org. Taking this to Shima, Nago explained that he was the IXA System's user in 2008. And that he came back to change events that would cause trouble for the Organization in the future.

This time now trailing Otoya, he followed him back to Tanahashi's. After calling Tanahashi away for a while, Nago barged into the studio, once again demanding IXA be relinquished to him. However just as he was about to engage Otoya, a woman stood between them. After getting a good look at this woman, Nago realized that she was none other than the woman from the unfinished painting back from when he first spoke with Tanahashi. After the woman slapped him for interupting the process of art, Nago was left speachless.

After trailing the woman for a while in town, Nago was soon spotted by Otoya asked if he was following her. After denying any such, Otoya then openly pondered in front of Nago if he was starting to have a crush on her. When Nago immediately denied his accusation again, Otoya seemed only more convinced. As he tried yet again to attack Otoya, he this time stepped back and opened up his violin case to reveal a spring loaded boxing glove, which successfully hit Nago down just before he could've hit Otoya. After Otoya admitted that if they threw down right then and there that he'd likely lose, he told Nago that he could never truly be beaten by Nago because he was too uptight.

As the day went on, Nago decided to use Yuri as leverage to gaining the IXA System from Otoya. As he tried to knock her unconscious, Nago seemingly underestimating her and found himself with his arm pressed against his back. Luckily despite this, he was still more skilled than her and managed to get Yuri in the handcuffs he saved from earlier. After he phoned in for Otoya at Mald'amour, using Yuri as a bargaining chip, Otoya arrived. As Otoya finally gave up the IXA Knuckle and tossing it to him, Yuri apparently freed herself from the cuffs and caught it, much to much to Nago's surprise, and tossed it back. Having him outnumbered, they both slugged Nago in the gut, causing him to lose consciousness.

AWhat.png

When Nago finally came to, the woman from before appeared and asked Nago if he had been following her lately. After speculating that if he was in love with her, she then went on to ask why people fall in love. However as Nago claimed that he did not love, she then lost interest and decided to leave. But as she was leaving, Nago asked her to stop. As he pulled out his string of buttons, he presented her with the one he claimed was the first of his collection as a Bounty Hunter, believing it to be a good luck charm. As she took it, they were then made aware of the presence of the Cicada Fangire. On his guard, Nago was left confused when the Fangire was supposedly reminding her of her duties and inquired as to why she was wasting her time having a painting done of herself. After watching them converse such things as her feling bad for her envoy for not having any appreciation for the fine arts, Nago then asked if she was indeed a Fangire. Even though she didn't answer and instead went about her business, Nago wished his first romantic interest a farewell to himself as she seemingly vanished into thin air.

After getting back on Otoya's tail, he observed the fight against the Cicada Fangire. As the Fangire took Tanahashi hostage, Otoya charged up the Broken Fang attack, but turned back proclaiming he did enough. Hoping that his ruse would leave an opening to attack the Fangire, he immediately jumped back ready to fire. Just before he did this, Nago realized that Otoya didn't attack Tanahashi, but instead was injured due to the backlash of the Fangire's exploding. As he was about to fire the Broken Fang, Nago jumped in and pushed him out of the way. As he took the IXA knuckle in hand, Nago shot an exhaust blast at the Fangire instead, separating him from Tanahashi. After Otoya asked what Nago was up to, Nago relished that he had finally rewritten the mistake that Otoya made, and thus faded back to his own time.

After arriving back in 2008, Nago was once again met with the the tuxedo clad stranger, congratulating him on his success. However despite that, he pointed out that Nago's actions allowed the Cicada Fangire to survive into the present day when she should have died years ago. Not bothered by this, Nago then headed the scene of a Fangire attack. As it was apparent that Megumi and Kengo were there, Nago was more focused on Kiva being overwhelmed by the Crab and Cicada Fangires. This time ready for it, Nago then activated IXA and immediately transfered to Rising IXA. Feeling he needed to tie up his loose end from the past, he went straight for the Cicada. After easily doing away with the Fangire, Nago then performed the Final Rising Blast. Again being pushed back by the force of the shot, Nago then took advantage of this by landing on the side of the building behind him, jumping off and drop kicking the Fangire into pieces.

Later on while enjoying a cup of coffee at Mald'amour, as Wataru was paying for his coffee, he dropped his change. As Nago looked down, he noticed something on the floor. After realizing that it was the very same button that he had given the woman back in 1986, he asked Wataru how he came into possession of it. As he explained that it was given to him by his mother for good luck, could only but wonder to himself if it was the same woman.

KivaisWataru.png

Sometime after pondering further over if Wataru's mother was indeed the woman whom he met back in the 80s, Nago was alerted to a Fangire attack. However when he arrived, he came upon the sight of the Lion and Warthog Fangires fighting amongst themselves. Activating IXA and transferring to Rising IXA, Nago attacked them both. However as the two Fangires seemed to have decided that Nago was a common threat, they started to just attack him together. After being double teamed for a while, Kiva had apparently arrived and took the Lion on by himself, leaving Nago to face off against the Warthog. After throwing down with the Fangire further, it apparently decided to retreat. However after chasing it a short way, Nago then took sight of Kiva. Watching him, Nago was soon shocked to see that Kiva had reverted to his true form, revealing him to be none other than Wataru.

Later on while at Mald'amour, Nago expressed his surprise in Wataru being Kiva. After Wataru apologized for not telling him, Nago proclaimed that he wanted Wataru under his wing. Feeling reassured that if he taught him correctly then he wouldn't have any worries. After Wataru pointed out that Kengo was already under Nago's tutelage, Nago immediately stated that he wasn't interested in him anymore, or really that he never cared for him in the first place. Coincidentally, Kengo was there in the entrance long enough to hear Nago. After he ran out, claiming that he now had no one to trust, Wataru tried to go after, but Nago insisted he didn't.

The next day after Nago had spoken to Megumi over defeating the Lion Fangire, Rook, Nago came across Megumi being beaten down by The Warthog Fangire. After shooting it off, activating IXA and transferring to Rising IXA, Nago intercepted. As the fight progressed, with Wataru getting involved with fighting Rook, the two then traded opponents. As Nago continued to fight Rook, the mighty Fangire proclaimed his desire to defeat the IXA System in battle. After managing to push Rook back some, Megumi asked Nago once again to let her use the IXA System against Rook. After a breif moments pause, Nago deactivated IXA and told Megumi to finish Rook off.

Later on as Nago felt he had to train Wataru, Nago called him to an outdoor cafe. While there, Nago asked Wataru as to why he became a Bounty Hunter, with Wataru feeblishly answering to collect buttons, Nago pointed to a man elsewhere in the cafe. After being showing a notification of that he was wanted by the authorities for robbery to Wataru, he told Wataru to apprehend him as apart of training. As he watched Wataru approach the wanted man, he then told Wataru to go after him when the criminal started running. However despite telling him to, Nago was forced to apprehend the criminal himself as Wataru was apparently splaying in a sandbox.

Sometime later after trying to find out more about Wataru's parentage and attending his unrequited love party, Nago was on the trail of Murokawa Tatsuo, a wanted kidnapper. After arriving on the scene, Murokawa threatened to h, he was unfortunately beaten down. As he was being overpowered, a stranger appeared. After he took the perpetrator down in one blow and kicked Nago twice, Nago then recognized the mysterious individual to be none other than Kengo.

As Shima brought Kengo into Mald'amour as a new member of the Blue Sky Org later on, Nago asked Shima why he decided to let such a ruffian into their ranks. Suddenly, Kengo gave Nago a swift punch in the face. Amused by this, Kengo mocked Nago for not being able to dodge a simple punch from an amateur, calling him "Button Man" in the process. However as Nago had just about enough of Kengo's insolence, Megumi stood between them and broke them up. Prompting Shima to ask that they not fight amongst themselves.

Later in the day, Nago came across Wataru being attacked by the Swallowtail Fangire. After shooting him off with the IXA Knuckle's exhaust blast, Nago activated IXA and transfered to Rising IXA. As he was prepared to aid Wataru, Nago found a woman had appeared before him. As she revealed herself to be the Horsefly Fangire, she attacked him. After she got hold of the IXA Riser and shot Nago down she continually overpowered. Unfortunately, even despite using the IXAcalibur to even the odds, Nago was still beaten back by the Fangire. After she shot and wounded Nago's arm, she picked up the IXAcalibur and prepared to impale him. Luckily Wataru had thrown the Swallowtail into the Horsefly just in time, causing both Fangires to retreat.

Sometime later after the result of Nago's injury was the IXA System's user being transfered to Kengo, Nago decided to become Kengo's coach since praying to God to fix his mistake and trying to leave tacks on the IXA Knuckle didn't work. As Nago presented Kengo with a T-shirt in similar design to his own, brandishing the number 753 (Na-Go-San), Nago proclaimed that he and Kengo would make their spirits as one while working together. That with the strong kinds of Fangires out in the world, Nago would properly train him. However Kengo wasn't in the same spirits. After he poured his drink over Nago's head, he walked out of Mald'amour proclaiming he needed no coach and that he'd defeat anything that stood before him.

Sometime later after realizingthat bewing a coach for Kengo was no good, Wataru called Nago in to speak with him. As they took their conversation to Mald'amour, Wataru claimed that he wished to reveal himself to the Blue Sky Org. As this greatly excited Nago, he proclaimed that he would assist him in making the announcement.

Taking the liberty of making the what he had apparently thought were the appropriate arrangements and accommodations, Nago gathered his fellow agents and Wataru at a traditional Japanese inn. As he stood up, Wataru went straight to the point and proclaimed that he was Kiva. As not a one of them believed Wataru, Nago backed him up, claiming that he was indeed kiva as per witnessing it with his own eyes. Needless to say it left everyone in the room speechless. As Wataru apologized for keeping the truth from everyone, Nago continued to back him up by claiming that with a kind and caring individual such as Wataru as Kiva, there was nothing to fear. But as Nago was about to make a toast to Wataru as Kiva, Wataru then claimed that he had one last thing to say. As Shima encouraged Wataru to let it out, Wataru did just that and proclaimed that he was a Half-Fangire. With almost everyone believing it was a joke, Shima on the other hand believed it, claiming that he would have to be such since no ordinary kind of human could be Kiva. As Nago admitted that he had not foreseen this, the remainder of the room was left in shock.

The next day, Shima called in Nago, Megumi and Kengo in for their next assignment. As orders from the higher-ups in the Organization, Shima proclaimed that the Blue Sky Org had marked Kiva to be eliminated. As Nago and Megumi both voiced their opinions against it, Shima ignored them, openly stating that it wasn't the time for such. Stating that Kengo was still the assigned user of the IXA System, Shima assigned Nago and Megumi as backup. Arming them with sniper rifles with prototype bullets specially made to destroy Fangires.

Later on, Nago had called for Wataru to speak with him. As he claimed that he was relieved when he found out about Wataru being Kiva, his being a Half-Fangire is a different story, especially with the Blue Sky org higher-ups. As he expressed that he hoped it was all a misunderstanding, Nago proclaimed that should Wataru ever become Kiva again, he'd have to kill Wataru. Stating that he was ordered to do so and couldn't avoid it this time.

Unfortunately Wataru did transform and with that, the engaged him after he destroyed the Mantis Fangire. With Kengo facing Wataru head on, Nago and Megumi positioned themselves at the top of the dam where the fight took place. A while after Wataru took numerous hits and refused to attack Kengo, Nago shot around Kengo's feet, claiming that his hands were sweaty. Not long after, the Swallowtail Fangire appeared and subdued Kengo and then Taiga appeared as well. After they seemingly exchanged some words, the Swallowtail then sent Wataru into a raging bloodlust and went for Nago and Megumi. Before he could nearly impale her, Nago pushed him away, but as he was about to strike Nago, he called out to Wataru, instantly snapping him out of his rage. Confused over what just happened, he finally realized what he had just done as Kengo shouted out to him, referring to him as a Fangire. And with that realization, Wataru fled in shame.

Sometime later, after after reporting to Shima about the failed operation and finding out about Wataru shutting himself in his house, Nago came upon Kengo in combat with the Swallowtail Fangire. Taking notice as to how well he wasn't faring against the Fangire, Nago tried to call Wataru for help via cellphone. Noticing that the Fangire had forced IXA into deactivation, and was about to crush the IXA Knuckle, Nago tried to tackle the Fangire. Only managing to get him a few steps back, nago was unfortunately forced off and kicked away. As the Swallowtail then diverted his attention to Kengo, he motioned to finish him off. However before he could do so Wataru luckily appeared. After he fended the Fangire off, Wataru told Nago that due to the latent Fangire side within him, he would hence forth cease being Kiva and appear in public out of fear of hurting others. Claiming that he appreciated everything Nago had done for him until then, Wataru asked him also to apologize to Megumi for him as well.

Later on, entering Mald'amour, Nago noticed Megumi sulking over the bar end. After trying to make her feel better by using various phrases that all point out to things getting better over time, Megumi asked why Nago was trying to look out for Wataru. With that, Nago took Megumi to Wataru's home, now barricaded from the inside. Prepared for the occasion, Nago brought a pair of wire cutters and made his way through the berb wire along with Megumi and Shizuka. As they got to the door, Nago grabbed the nob and was suddenly frozen in his place. Wanting to know what was up, Megumi placed her hand on his shoulder and was then also frozen. After Shizuka did the same and sparks flew around them, they finally flew back. Realizing Wataru rigged the door nob to electrocute anyone who touched it, Nago then rammed through the door. After making his way through Wataru's house, Nago entered Wataru's room only to be hit back due to a large log suspended from the ceiling. After Nago and the girls fell victim to other booby traps set about for them, they decided to retreat.

After getting word, Nago headed to the scene of The Seamoon Fangire's rampage. With IXA in hand, Nago activated the system and engaged the monster. After delivering some blows, The swallowtail appeared. At first being double teamed by the the two, Nago eventually forced the Seamoon to retreat, leaving him able to take the swallowtail one on one. However despite the even odds, Nago was unfortunately finding himself outmatched by the Fangire. And as things seemed bad, Taiga once again appeared, claiming that Nago was sentenced to death, and transformed into something similar to the likes of Kiva. Being unable to fight the two at once, IXA was quickly forced into deactivation as Nago fell to the ground. as the Swallowtail motioned to finish him off, small explosions came between him and Nago. Luckily, Kengo arrived with a gun full of explosive rounds and bailed Nago out in the nick of time.

Sometime later after hearing what happened recently in regards to Kengo, Nago spoke to Shima. Asking him why he had fired Kengo, Shima merely claimed it was a test to prove his worth, a test similar to what he had done to Nago with the IXA System sometime before. However Kengo failed his test due to lack of self control. And with that, Shima requested that Nago finish up eliminating Kiva. However Nago proclaimed that he wished not to and would prefer to save him instead. Amused with Nago's words, Shima claimed Nago to be too naive and that he had experience with his feelings betraying him. But Nago stated that he didn't care, believing that just because something happened to Shima didn't mean the same would happen to him.

Later on, after trying to think of a way to get Wataru to come out of his home, Nago accompanied Kengo as he tried Wataru to come out through playing the guitar, despite not playing so well as he used to. As it seemed to have worked as Wataru peeked from his door, Kengo Begged to talk, which Wataru luckily allowed as he invited them into his home. As they settled, Wataru asked Nago that should he ever get out of control ever again, that Nago kill him before he hurt anyone. As Nago complied, Kengo tried to appologize to Wataru for how he had acted before. As he claimed that he had no real exceptional skill as a musician, that when he found out he couldn't play he was relieved from the pressure. Claiming that he thought straying from the path and becoming a fighter was betraying how he felt, he then proclaimed that hating Wataru was the real betrayal. As he said that he could live as a human even with his Fangire side, and asked to be friends once again. Wataru, although grateful, declined. Believing that because of what he was, he wasn't meant to be amongst either Fangire or Human, so he couldn't have friends.

After being alerted to the Seamoon Fangire resurfacing down town again, Nago raced to the scene, activating IXA and going straight for Rising IXA. Only after just getting letting out a few rounds from the IXA Riser on the Fangire did the Swallowtail appear, expressing his desire to finish their fight from before. After seemingly being on par with one another for most of the fight, Nago then managed to land the IXA Judgment attack on the Fangire. Although not enough to destroy him, it sent the Fangire into a retreat just before the Seamoon had apparently thrown Nago aside with his tentacles.

Sometime later as Wataru seemed to be looking down, Nago, Megumi and Kengo, surrounded him, trying to cheer him up with sweets. As they encouraged him to eat what the presented to him, saying it'd make him feel better, Wataru apologized to Kengo about what he said last time they spoke to one another. As he asked if they could be friends again, Kengo claimed that he thought nothing of what happened before and that they were already friends. After Kido joined in the moment, pushing Nago out, he then went over to the bar end and spoke to Shima. Requesting that he call off the order on Wataru's death, Shima commented on how he didn't like the idea of having a halfbreed between the Humans and Fangires existing.

Later on, after arriving too late with Megumi to help Shima in battle against the Sungrazer Fangire and later learning that his condition wasn't good, and then learning he disappeared, Nago, Wataru and Megumi wondered where Shima had gone. However, surprisingly, Shima then suddenly walked through Mald'amour's door, seemingly as healthy as ever. Even saying that he was such after everyone expressed their concern for his disappearance. As he made his way to order food, the three wondered if they simply dreamt Shima being injured from the git-go.

As the day went on, Nago and Megumi were alerted to the Sungrazer resurfacing and attacking people in a local park. After they chased it into an abandoned mill, they were soon joined by Shima. After heading into the mill, Nago and Megumi split up with Shima to cover more ground. Unfortunately, after looking around, Nago and Megumi were thrown back by a series of small explosions set by the Sungrazer, knocking them unconscious.

Sometime later, after watching Shima down seven plates of pasta in a row, Kido pointed out how oddly Shima had been acting as of late. As Nago speculated that it was because of failing to catch the Sungrazer (as it seemed to be keen on attacking him), he, along with Megumi, volunteered to become his bodyguards. However, Shima had Wataru in mind as a body guard. Believing it to have been an issue of distrust, Nago demanded to know why Shima chose Wataru over him.

Later on, as Nago, Wataru and Megumi watched over Shima in a local park, they commented on how despite his being targeted by the Fangires, he still goes about his everyday business as if there's nothing to be concerned about. However, after Shima inexplicably popped a stray soccer ball in mid air as it hit him, he ran away as though he were in pain. Chasing after him, they eventually came onto the Sungrazer trying to feed on some pedestrians. As Nago took it upon himself to take are of the Fangire, he activated IXA and attacked it. After he threw the Fangire behind a tree, the group then found Shima in it's place. Confused, all they could do was watch as Shima ran, screaming.

Sometime later, after learning of Shima's death, Nago walked into Mald'amour, and asked Kido what his body fat percentage was. As Kido stated that it was 9%, he then inquired if Nago was copying Shima. After stating he took it upon himself to keep Shima's ways alive to ensure lasting peace, Kido then asked what Nago's percentage was. When Nago tried to change the subject to world peace, Megumi, who was seated next to Nago, asked if he lost. But still refusing the concept of loss, Nago then decided to leave to exercise.

As Nago went for a jog, he was headed off by the Swallowtail Fangire. Claiming that with the Fangire Queen dead, and Wataru's inability to fight, the only thing that remained as an obstacle was the Blue Sky Organization. After claiming that the Blue Sky Org would remain forever, Nago activated and transfered to Rising IXA just as the Swallowtail reverted to his true form. However thanks to his supposed strength he inherited from Shima, as Nago believed, he was able to defeat the Fangire and forced him to retreat.

Later on, thinking they needed a new commanding officer, Nago had decided to prepare documents requiring signatures in order to gain candidacy for a promotion. As he had gone to Megumi, stating his intentions, she downright refused to sign the document and ripped it up. Having copies, Nago continued to ask her as he followed her around town. After asking her why she wouldn't want him as her superior officer, she claimed that he had too high an ego, excessively picky, unsociable, ect. Yet despite that, he still continued to ask. After she had pulled a muscle, Megumi tried to signal some passing by cops. As they were inexplicably assaulted by the two officers, it had then became apparent that they were Fangires. Luckilly, Wataru ad arrived and assisted Nago. Leaving Wataru to take care of the other Fangire, Nago chased another who had ran away.

Activating IXA along the chase, Nago shot at the monster to get it's attention. Easily killing the Fangire, Nago had then taken notice of the Swallow Tail, Bishop's, presence. As he came once again to challenge Nago, he reverted to his true form and the two did battle. As it seemed that Bishop this time had the upper hand, Megumi arrived to assist. However as Bishop went to strike her down, Nago took the hit for her. Taking the hit to his face, Megumi had to use an excess energy blast from the IXA Knuckle to fend the Fangire off.
