Kiva is the culmination of the symbiotic relationship between a Kivat and a Fangire or someone of Fangire descent. Kiva is a combination of the Japanese word for fang ,"Kiba", and "vampire". At first used as the main boost in combat ability by the Fangire Kings, it has since, by the present, been passed to Kurenai Wataru where it now seems to have a connection to the Bloody Rose. A violin that Kurenai Otoya left behind after his demise, which is somehow able to tell Wataru when Fangires are active and to direct him to fight them.
Forms
Kiva Form
Kiva Form is the default form upon transformation by a non Fangire wielder. Wataru simply attaches KivatBat III onto the Kivat Belt. When in that form, the chest is a blood red color with the eyes a golden yellow. This form specializes in hand to hand combat. It's finishing move is the Darkness Moon Break which is accessed when Kivat utilizes the Kiva Fustle to shed Kiva's right leg of the chains that seal the power necessary to utilize the move.
Garulu Form
Garulu Form is a form that is accessed with the use of the Garulu Fustle. When summoned, the arms monster, Garulu, transforms into a Kriss like sword called the Garulu Saber. Upon transforming into this form, Kiva's chest and eyes shift to a blue color and the left arm transforms into a blue Wolf-like pattern. In this form, Kiva is influenced by the arms monster's wild and rash personality but is bestowed with the monster's fighting skill. His final attack is called Garulu Howling Slash.
Basshaa Form
Basshaa Form is is a form that is accessed with the use of the Basshaa Fustle. When summoned, the arms monster, Basshaa, transforms into a gun called the Basshaa Magnum. Upon transforming into this form, Kiva's chest and eyes shift to a green color and the right arm transforms into a green fish-like pattern. In this form, Kiva is influenced by the arms monster's calm and focused personality and is bestowed with the monster's exceptional Marksmanship. His final attack is called Basshaa Aqua Tornado.
Dogga Form
Dogga Form is a form that is accessed with the use of the Dogga Fustle. When summoned, the arms monster, Dogga, transforms into a large war hammer called the Dogga Hammer. Upon transforming into this form, Kiva's chest and eyes shift to a purple color and both arms transform into a purple armored-like pattern. In this form, Kiva is influenced by the arms monster's burly personality and is bestowed with monster's unbelievable strength. His final attack is called Dogga Thunder Slap.
DoGaBaKi Form
DoGaBaKi Form is a combination of Dogga, Garulu, and Basshaa's manifestations. It is activated when Kivat utilizes all three Arms Monsters Fuestles. The finisher attack in this form thus far is Kiva form's Darkness Moon Break. Unfortunately the form can only be used for a maximum of five minutes before it becomes dangerous. It was accessed for the first time when KivatBat III was sick, and could not fight.
Emperor Form
Emperor Form is obtained with the use of the Tatsulot Fustle. When summoned, Tatsulot relinquishes the chains around Kiva's shoulders. This results in the chained leg section moved up to Kiva's chest, the armor plating to shift to gold, the eyes to change into a blood red, a wing like cape emerging from the back, and Tatsulot fastening himself onto the left arm. Much like DoGoBaKi Form, Emperor Form can utilize all three arms monsters but with the use of Tatsulot boosting their power in order to be accommodated for use.
Flight Form
Flight Form was obtained only once throughout the series thus far. Not much is known other than that it's the result of Wataru's completion over repairing the Bloody Rose, and when putting his own pledge in it, turning him into a large bat like creature. It is said to be the "true form" of Kiva, and also called the Emperor Bat. Wataru also transforms into Flight Form during the movie "The King of Hell Castle."
Dark Kiva
Dark Kiva is the thus far the most powerful known form and possibly it's truest. Although the form in appearance is very similar to Emperor Form, it differs by being primarily red, green and black, instead of gold, red and black variant. Separating itself even further from Emperor Form, it has access to three different finishers all on it's own without the use of the Arms Monsters, and as well allows the personal powers of a Fangire King to be used through it.
Armaments
KivatBat II
KivatBat II is the medium of which to allow King to transform into Kiva. He is also able to use the fustles that allow the use of Kiva's finishers and the summoning of it's tools.
Kivat Bat III
Kivat Bat III is the medium of which to allow Wataru to transform into Kiva. He's also able use of the fustles that summon the Arms Monsters that grant Kiva different forms and can awaken the power for Kiva's Darkness Moon break.
Garulu Saber
The Garulu Saber is a Kriss like sword that serves to grant Kiva Garulu Form. Bestowing Kiva the fighting skill of it's original identity, the Wolfen Jiro. It's also able to perform the Howling Shock. A powerful howl of a shock wave that can repel kiva's opponents.
Basshaa Magnum
The Basshaa Magnum is a pistol like weapon that serves to grant Kiva Basshsaa Form. Bestowing Kiva the marksmanship of it's original identity, the Merman Ramon.
Dogga Hammer
The Dogga Hammer is a war hammer like weapon that serves to grant Kiva Dogga Form. Bestowing Kiva the immense strength of it's original identity, the Franken Riki. It also contains the True Eye. An eye on the palm of the hammer that can see anything and can render a Fangire frozen.
Machine Kivaa
Machine Kivaa is Kiva's personal motorcycle.
Buroon Booster
Buroon Booster is a Golem who can be attached to Machine Kivaa to boost its capabilities.
Castle Doran
Castle Doran is a Dragon that was captured by the Fangires and was transformed into a castle. It houses both the Arms Monsters and the Buron Booster when not used. It is able to fight with Shoo Doran, and eats the souls of the Fangires when they are defeated by Kiva. It is invisible to ordinary people as it disguises itself as apart of a building.
Shoodoran
Shoodoran is a young dragon that was captured along with Doran by the Fangires and was transformed into a windmill that can attach itself to the top of Castle Doran for battle.
Tatsulot
Tatsulot is a small gold dragon-like being. With a rather eccentric personality, he allows Kiva to access Emperor Form.
Zanvat
The Zanvat Sword is the former sword of the Fangire Kings of past and supposedly the strongest and most powerful sword in existence.
