IXA System

The IXA System is a rider weapons system designed to combat Fangires. It's name is derived from the Japanese word "Ikusa" (war) and the initials of its full name, Interceptor X Attacker. It was designed by Aso Akane for the Wonderful Sky Blue Organization in the 1980s. After the years from when it was first introduced into the battlefield in 1986, it was upgraded by 2008 with various more features added.

Modes and Forms

Save Mode

Save Mode is the default mode for IXA upon activation. Extended use of this mode will cause the system to "save" the energy it generates. Thus causing it to overheat, deactivate and cause debilitating effects to the user. The overheating point is signified when the red light on the belt flashes on and off and vents out what could be a gassed coolant or excess hot air.

Burst Mode

Burst Mode is the exhausting of the energy IXA generates. After IXA is activated, it's user seemingly has the option to use this feature at his or her own discretion. It is signified when IXA's visor splits into three pieces and opens to reveal two red "eyes", and lets out a large wave of hot energy. This mode saves the user from harm by the system by preventing it from overheating. It was integrated sometime between 1986 and 2008, installed during the Version X.

Rising IXA

Rising IXA is the IXA system's secondary and more powerful form. With the use of the IXARiser concealed in the helmets mouth-plate, Rising IXA is activated when the numbers 1-9-3 are dialed into the IXA Riser. Transformation is signified when IXA's visor moves further from the face, the top crest splits and each side turns 90 degrees outward, much of the outer plating removed, the body glove turning white as well as whatever original plating there was to turn blue or black.

Features

IXA Knuckle

The IXA Knuckle is IXA's medium of transformation along with IXA's belt, using a sound system that makes use of kana based transliterated English whenever a user makes use of a specific function. When not fighting with other armaments, the user can fire out excess energy pulses with the IXA Knuckle. Using the Knuckle Fuestle allows IXA to temporarily disengage the IXA Knuckle from it's belt, readying the Broken Fang finisher for use, which fires out an exponentially stronger energy attack.

IXA Calibur

The IXA Calibur is IXA's main armament, an interchangeable gun/sword weapon. When the IXA Calibur Fuestle is utilized, power is channeled into the blade of the IXA Calibur for a fierce slash attack, the IXA Judgement.

IXAlion

IXAlion is IXA's personal motorcycle. The name IXAlion is based off IXA's name and the word "stallion" which in English means a male horse.

Powered IXER

Powered IXER is a mechanical dragon made by the Wonderful Sky Blue Organization in 2008, summoned with IXA's Powered IXER Fuestle. It has a big limb with a clamp at the end that is able to grip onto and throw explosive cannisters. It is used mostly for fighting Sabbats. Whether it has a limited amount of explosives or not is unknown, as it has been seen using more than the visible pair in a single battle.

Fake Fuestles

In addition to his IXA Knuckle, IXA Calibur, and Powered IXER Fuestles, the IXA System is equipped with three fustles nearly identical to Kiva's Arms Monsters Fuestles. When Kiva uses one of his, IXA can intercept the summoned weapon and steal it from Kiva by using the respective Fake Fuestle, which copies its frequency.

IXA Riser

The IXA Riser is Rising IXA's primary weapon and means of activation to IXA's more powerful form. Resembling a cellphone, the device rests as IXA's mouth-plate but is removed in order to be utilized. With the use of the Riser Fustel, the IXA Riser is used as a powerful automatic machine gun.
