Legend
The legend of Momotaro is about a grandmother and grandfather who one day, finds a peach floating on the river beside their house. It was a huge one, so they decided to bring it home and eat it. They cutted it until suddenly a baby popped out. They decided to name him Momotaro. Although he stayed very small, he was very very strong. One day, he decided to hunt down the evil demons who live on Onigashima. His grandmother gave him some Kibi Dangos (Rice Cakes) to eat on his way. He was walking when he met a Kiji (Japanese bird), a monkey and a dog. They all ate the Kibi Dango and became strong. They marched all the way to Onigashima, and fought the demons with the Kibi Dangos. They finally finished fighting, and returned all the money that the demons stole to the original possesors, married Otohime, and lived happily ever after.
