Aso Yuri

Aso Yuri is a second generation member of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization. Fighting the Fangires as she believes them to be an error of god's creations, she primarily hunts them so as to find the one Fangire who killed her mother. After swearing vengeance, this act leads her to meeting Kurenai Otoya, Jiro and the birth of her daughter, Megumi.

Character Synopsis

We are first introduced to Yuri ash she is on the hunt for the Spider Fangire. Arriving at a church, complete with a rose bouquet, she manages to catch him before having his way with three would be victims. After stating her disdain for all Fangires and getting roughed up a little afterwards, she engages in combat with the monster. After making a few skillful blows on the creature, he vanishes.

Later on during her part time job at Mald'amou. After feeding Kido Akira's puppy, despite being terribly afraid of it, Shima Mamoru informs Yuri of the economic 'bubble' that the country is in at the time. As he Identifies a certain individual who's benefiting from it, he points out that five of the man's secretaries have gone missing. Which then indicates the possibility of him being a Fangire.

Later that night, Yuri was assined to find and eliminate the Fangire. Finding him just before he was about to take his latest victim, Yuri first tried to attack him with a motorbike. After being dismounted, she tried to attack by hand. Unfortunately this proved futile as he transformed into the Horse Fangire had beaten her down before he gave chase to his prey. Having to retreat since he had called in some bodyguards to get rid of her, she soon bumped into a random pedestrian. After making a quick change in clothing, she hugged him. Giving the two guards chasing her the idea that she and the man were just a couple sharing a tender moment, they soon ran off. However after Yuri thanked him and attempted to make her way, he stopped her. Saying that her running up to and embracing him like such and not taking it further wasn't fair. After making a small effort to tempt her, Yuri threw back into some shrubs.

Later on, Yuri caught up with the Fangire.Unfortunately she was too late to save his latest victim. Seeing the woman's corpse, she again attacked him. After managing to yank him down from a platform, she went in to finish him off. Unfortunately, the man form before stopped Yuri and embraced her, assuming she was feeling lonely. Allowing the Horse Fangire to escape, she let out her frustration by punching the man in the face.

Sometime later after learning of female violin players recently gone missing, Yuri was assigned to pose as Miyazawa Hitomi's manager in order to lure out a possible Fangire. When Yuri had entered where she was practicing, Stating that she was her manager, she went over Hitomi's daily schedule. However someone who had been inconspicuously seated, expressed disagreement with it. As Yuri recognized him as them an from the night before, she told him he didn't belong in the room. Oddly though, he was vouched for by Ms. Miyazawa, mentioning of how he was a superb violinist in the past. But when Yuri expressed disbelief, the man decided to play a short song. Introducing himself as Kurenai Otoya, he exited the room, but not before saying to Yuri that he is her man of fate.

Later on after a performance, Yuri went to try and keep her eye on Ms. Miyazawa. Unfortunately, Otoya once again tried to put the moves on Yuri. Otoya thinking that she sent Ms. Miyazawa away so the two could be alone, she quickly shoved him away. Eventually catching up with Ms. Miyazawa, it was soon revealed that she was the Fangire. When Otoya showed up as Yuri and Miyazawa were about to throw down. As he believed the two to be fighting over him, Miyazawa then transformed into the Octopus Fangire. As Yuri went on fighting Miyazawa, she managed to severely damage the fangire's violin. Unfortunately Miyazawa escaped.

Sometime later after realizing her Fangire Slayer was missing and had an idea who had it, Yuri decided to go looking for Otoya to get her weapon back. After he teased Yuri with her weapon, The Moth Fangire attacked. Still in possession of Yuri's weapon, Otoya decided to engage in combat. Holding his own for a short while, he was eventually restrained by the Fangire. But shortly after Yuri got hold of her weapon and landed a few blows, the Fangire made use of it's explosive dust as a distraction and fled.

Long after Shima had requested that Yuri keep an eye on and investigate Otoya, much to her dismay, Otoya came strutting into Mald'amour. When Yuri asked what he was doing there, he claimed to be there as a customer,so Yuri took his order. After asked for Yuri only, he was asked to leave. Abiding by the command, Otoya proposed that they leave together. However Just as he tried to persuade Yuri even further, another customer at the bar end of the cafe took hold of Otoya and threw him clean out of Mal'amour. Just as he tried to run right back in, Yuri immediately shut the door.

The next day as Yuri was exiting the cafe, she couldn't help but get the feeling she was being watched. After taking a moment to stand still to see or hear if anything was going on, she soon caught sight of Otoya. When he approached her, he demanded to know where the man who threw him out was. After stating the two things he hated most in the world, Engagement and men who are against him, that very man appeared and hit's him to the ground. With the leather clad man stating that a cafe is a sacred place among the world, the two begin a fist fight. Yuri being bored with it all, decided to go about her business and left. After making her way into an indoor parking lot, she noticed she stepped in a giant web. Looking above, she was soon knocked out by an unknown assailant.

Later on when Yuri awakens, she finds herself in a room full of various toys spread about the floor and a wall covered with photos of herself. Noticing a man standing before her, he asked if she had recognized him. After getting a better look at him, she soon realized that he was the Spider Fangire, Itoya Ryo.

After having various beauty treatments done by Ryo and a failed attempt at a rescue by Otoya, the two then sit with each other. As Otoya claims himself to be a failure, Yuri tells him not to give up. Being told to take the necklace she'd been wearing, Otoya immediately understands why. Eventually handing it to Yuri so he can be cut free, Yuri asks Otoya why he keeps going after her. Otoya goes on to say that he believes that everyone gives off a kind of music, even if they don't know it. And that the music that emits from Yuri is quite to his liking. After Yuri expressed some positive thoughts on his philosophy, Otoya instantly assumed that she was falling for him. However before Otoya could've been cut free, Ryo comes back with the Wedding dress he picked for Yuri to wear.

Apparently after being rendered unconscious again, Yuri woke up to find Otoya again trying to rescue her. Fortunately even though Otoya failed once again, someone else showed up. The leather clad customer from Mald'amour.

Some time after her rescue from Ryo, Shima had debriefed Yuri on the situation of Mald'amour's declining amount of customers. Stating that many of the regulars have been disappearing, Shima assigns Yuri to guard and look after them. Not having any objection to the task, Yuri accepts, but doesn't believe she can do it entirely on her own. After asking if Shima had been looking out for new recruits, Otoya popped in. Suddenly claiming that now they can be together, Shima then recalls the deal he made with Otoya for his entrance into the Organization. However Yuri immediately claims that it wasn't Otoya who saved her, despite his saying otherwise. Given the uncertainty of the situation, Shima gives Otoya another chance to join.

Later on as Yuri followed the man who threw Otoya out the other day, Otoya decided to tag along. Wanting to know as to why they were following him, Yuri stated that Mald'amour's regular customers were possibly being targeted by Fangires. Being that he's a regular customer, he might be attacked. However Otoya, trying to dissuade Yuri, claims that Jiro can take care of himself and then performs a magician's trick. As he pulled a long piece of paper from his mouth it distracted Yuri. Shortly noticing that she lost Jiro, Otoya was then bludgeoned by a near by rock that Yuri had found.

later that night Shima had requested that they use the man who saved Yuri, as bait for the Fangires that were targeting those who dined at Mald'amour. He also asked that the man become a member of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization on the account of Yuri's recommendation for rescuing her.

The next day, as the group went over their failure to find out of Mald'amour's customers were being targeted by Fangires. Otoya openly assured himself that he was soon to be a member of the Organization. However soon after the man left, Yuri left after him. Trailing him, it seemed to have been apparent that he was aware that Yuri was there. After he said that "when a woman follows a man, she is either intending on stealing from him or is in love" Yuri came out, stating what Shima had asked of him before. Immediately after, Yuri was attacked, nearly dodging three projectiles from an unseen foe. Otoya caught up with the two as she was just after. As it seemed that Yuri was the next target, Otoya proclaimed that it be he to protect her.

A little later as it was now apparent that Yuri was the next target, the man and Otoya followed. After a while a strange man showed up. Unfortunately Otoya came running forward and tackled the small man. As Otoya was about to beat the man further, Yuri painfully held him back. Explaining that the man was simply flirting with her. As a police officer arrived on the scene, Yuri quickly requested for Otoya's arrest. Eventually after hearing a womans scream, she ran and found the man standing over another Mald'amour regular victim.

Back at Mald'amour, as Yuri and Kido were closing shop while Otoya was being forced to spend the night there for overdosing on drinking a specially concocted blend Kido made Otoya drink. A little ways after leaving, Yuri was spoken to by someone. After the creature had stepped out and fired at her, she figured that it was the Fangire that had been attacking Mald'amour's customers. But after trying to attack with her Fangire slayer (which it easily dodged), it fired more high velocity shots of water at her. After fleeing, it eventually pinned her down under some construction equipment. Fortunately, the man appeared and fended the monster away. Held in his arms, the man assured her that all was well just before she passed out.

Sometime later, Shima officially welcomed the man, Jiro, into the Wonderful Blus Sky Organization. After commenting that men of reliable quality like Jiro are a rarity, Shima had asked if there was some kind of special reason for using that kind of talk. After deneing it, the two men then went on about their business as Otoya walked into the cafe. Proclaiming that he now has a valid means of getting into the Organization, Shima still questioned it. Yuri proposed that he actually be allowed to join the Alaska branch. Insulted, Otoya decided he didn't want part of the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization. Instead opting to create the "Wonderful Love Aso Yuri Organization". However as he tried to put his hands on Yuri's shoulders, Yuri punched him with enough force to hit the ceiling, knocking him out.

A few days later after receiving orders and requesting to be the user of the IXA System, Yuri and Jiro went on their assignment of obtaining the Black Star Violin, as recent owners of the instrument had mysteriously died. While attempting to buy it in auction on the behalf of the organization, Otoya unfortunately had stepped in increasing the bid, making it difficult to obtain the Black Star. However with permission from Shima, Jiro rendered Otoya unconscious, allowing Yuri to close the bid.

Heading back, Yuri expressed her interest as to why a Fangire had interest in the violin. Allowing her curiosity to get the better of her, She decided to play. Jiro at first surprised that she could, was soon met with only hight pitch screeching, which caused him to move away. With Otoya arriving, demanding to have the violin, Jiro had once again K.O.ed him as he tried to take the Black Star.

After Yuri once again played, this time at a bay area, later in the day. Otoya found her and commanded her to stop playing. When a stranger in a hat and sunglasses deemed her unworthy of owning the Black Star, Otoya agreed. But soon after, the man then transformed into the Frog Fangire. After Otoya tried to fight it hand to hand and was thrown into the water, Jiro rushed in to confront him. At first working in tandem with Jiro, the Fangire's explosive projectiles halted their assault. But as the Fangire fled, Jiro gave chase.

Returning to Mald'amour Otoya immediately warn Yuri of Jiro started preaching that Jiro was a Fangire, although Yuri wouldn't have any of it. After she proclaimed that he was just jealous of failing to get into the Organization instead of Jiro, Jiro had walked in. Otoya Inquiring if Jiro had been planning to eat everyone, he immediately tried to confess that his taste very much wouldn't be to Jiro's liking.

Later that day as the Frog Fangire reappeared to take the Black Star, Yuri was overwhelmed by it. When Otoya showed up once again tried to attack but was thrown away again. After the two rolled down some stairs into Yuri. After tumbling down to the bottom, Jiro arrived on the scene. His appearance scaring the Fangire away, Yuri got back up and tried to go after it. However in the confusion of the fight, Otoya had managed to take the Black Star.

Sometime later while visiting the grave of her mother, Shima had also decided to visit since it was around the time of the year when her mother, Akane, was killed two years previously. After Shima proclaimed that the IXA System was operational, Yuri immediately pleaded to be the one to use it. As Shima recalled how great a person Akane was, Yuri confided. Recalling that she would have revenge for her mother by killing the Fangire that killed her.

Later on after Yuri had a run-in with the Earwig Fangire, Yuri made her way to work. Enjoying a nice morning walk, she was soon joined by Otoya who made sure to meet up with Yuri first thing. Noticing her good mood, he openly assumed it was his presence that did it. After disagreeing, Yuri claimed that he good mood was because she was finally receiving something that she had been longing for, and that Otoya's antics couldn't phase her this time. However as the two headed down into an underground parking lot, they were Ambushed by the Earwig Fangire. As the Fangire pinned her down and tried to finish her off, someone using IXA intervened, which didn't please Yuri at all. After making quick work of the monster, IXA deactivated, revealing the user to be Jiro.

Not in the least bit pleased with the recent turn of events, Yuri brought this all the way to Shima. Believing that since IXA was designed by her mother, it rightfully belonged to her. However Shima thought otherwise. After his proclaiming that IXA belonged to humanity, and as long as she fails to accept that, she'll never use it. Yuri stormed off. Claiming that she'd now quit the Wonderful Blue Sky Org.

Later in the day while Otoya practiced in a green house, Yuri showed up, giving applause for his performance. As he inquired if she wished for a date, she'd have to come another time as he is spending his time with music. However just as Yuri had expressed that she did want to go out with him, Otoya quickly changed his mind on the situation and immediately chased after her.

Heading first to a restaurant, Yuri's large appetite was put into show for all to see as she had scarfed down near a dozen plates of food before Otoya had even finished his first. Taking the date next to an amusement park where at first the two seemed to be enjoying themselves, but soon Otoya grew sick of the various rides they had went on. Eventually taking a boat ride, much to Otoya's dismay. Fearing she'd rock the boat to the point of tipping over, Yuri unexpectedly decided to dive into the water. After Yuri implored Otoya to follow in her actions, Otoya jumped in, but ran into difficulty as he lacked the ability to swim. After drying out on shore, Yuri had proposed to do other things. However Otoya wasn't interested. As Yuri said that he was just embarrassed for not knowing hot to swim, Otoya claimed that she's being someone she's not. And that someone was not a person to his liking.

After finding Otoya begging Jiro for IXA, Yuri then joined him in begging. After being asked why she wanted the IXA System so much, Yuri claimed that perhaps maybe, she'd be able to finally grip her mother's hand again. But after Jiro said that she was wrong did he collapsed fo seemingly no reason at all. It wasn't till he was in a hospital bed that Shima explained that Jiro was acting as IXA's beta tester. Using it so that the bugs were worked out and refined the system for Yuri's use. As Jiro asked her for support, Yuri agreed to let him use IXA till it was complete.

Sometime later after Jiro's release from the hospital, the two decided to do some light training. As Jiro was doing laps in an indoor pool, It seemed mid lap that he had been experiencing difficulties. Fearing for his safety, Yuri dived in and tried to save him. After finding him lounging at the bottom, she told him told him to pull jokes like that. But after Jiro said that he was glad that Yuri was supporting him still, Otoya came in and destroyed the moment.

After Jiro reported to Shima of the theft of IXA by the hand of Otoya. Yuri only thought even lower of Otoya. Angry, Yuri decided to go looking for him. As she called his home, he "coincidentally" appeared near by yet again. While frisking Otoya, Yuri demanded the Return of IXA. Claiming he didn't have it on him at the time, he then tried to tell Yuri of some story about Jiro's intentions for her. After she shrugged off his accusations as jealous ramblings, Yuri asked him if he experienced any difficulties after using IXA. Proudly responding that he did not, Otoya claimed to be better than Jiro and that he was immortal. Phoning in Shima, she reported on Otoya's status. Commenting that he was lively and energetic, she purposed the possibility that why he wasn't feeling any effects was on account of his stupidity.

Sometime later in the day after visiting a massage and shoeshine booth, Otoya had retreated into the forest while Yuri had fetched some drinks. After looking for him for a while in the forest, she found Jiro kneeling over Otoya. Asking what had happened, Jiro concluded that Otoya must have had a run in with a Fangire and lost due to improper use of IXA.

A while after they took Otoya to the hospital, Yuri had come in for a visit. After being told of the data recorded from using IXA, Otoya shrugged it aside. Stating that his illness was his affection for Yuri and that she's the cure. However Yuri retorted, claiming that his illness was idiocy and that there wasn't a cure.

Later on,with a new Fangire catching prey in odd patterns turns up, Yuri was assigned with Jiro to eliminate it. During this time Yuri visited again, stopping by since she was investigating in the area. After being feeding some unappetizing hospital food to him, Otoya asked as to why Yuri had been fighting the Fangires. Believing it to be related to what she said as she was begging for IXA from Jiro, Otoya couldn't help but ask. After Yuri claimed it having to do with the murder of her mother, Jiro appeared at the door reminding her of their work.

While patrolling for the Fangire, Yuri was approached by a tall stranger asking if she had ever one more than 300 million yen in the lottery before. But as she thought he was just another guy trying to hit on her, she vaguely recognized him. After fully remembering him as the one who had killed her mother, she tried to chase after him. But after he turned on a corner, she lost him.

Luckily soon enough, she found him again in a near by park. After provoking him into a fight by knocking his Sundae out of his hands to the ground, she stood little chance against him. Beaten down and thrown at a tree, Yuri lost consciousnesses. After coming to, the man was gone, but of all the things to find, she found the IXA Knuckle laying about near by.

Sometime later while looking for the Fangire, Rook, Yuri bumped into Jiro and Otoya. As the two told her that they had a plan on defeating him, Yuri wouldn't have any of it, stating that she'd be the one to kill him. Unfortunately as she was about to leave, they knocked her out and took IXA. When she came to, she eventually found the two in mid battle with Rook. After making herself noticed, she questioned Rook as to why he killed her mother. But after he said that he never bothered to remember the identities of those he killed, Yuri went into a blind rage. Swinging her blade at him relentlessly, it was all for naught as it didn't even phase him. After he had enough of her presence, he easily knocker her out once again.

After the events that involved Rook, Yuri went about looking for Otoya; eventually finding him practicing upon a rooftop. Needing a favor, Yuri asked him to be a violin teacher to the child violin prodigy, Kurosawa Mami. However not being fond of kids, Otoya declined. But as Yuri further implored that he do it, Otoya agreed. Conditioning that if he helped Mami out of her slump, then she'll go on a date with him. And much to Otoya's delight, Yuri reluctantly agreed.

Eventually arriving at her home, Yuri only watched on as Otoya evaded some traps, but fell into a more elaborate trap set up for him. After some unpleasing words thrown between Mami and Otoya, he eventually got her to play the violin. Instantly not liking what he heard, he immediately made her stop. After stating that she had no talent, but should work on it anyway since his date depended on it, Mami left. Yuri not pleased with the progress, kicked Otoya into chasing after her.

Later on when Yuri showed up at Mald'amour, she was surprised to find Otoya there. When Kido informed her of Mami's cleaning the toilets, Mami walked out still not understanding the point of her lesson. After Jiro walked in, the two began to bicker about IXA.But when Yuri got the full story from Kido, she stormed in on Otoya and Jiro's little "duel". Furious that he had been deceived Mami to get out of a debt. As Mami heard this, she decided to run away. As Otoya thought Yuri would tell him to chase her, she told him she really just wanted him to teach her properly.

The next day at the audition, Otoya couldn't help but nod off to sleep from boredom. As Mami's turn came up, he was still nodding off. As she seemed to be doing well, Otoya was still falling asleep, despite the poking, prodding and often kicking from Yuri. As one of the strings broke while Mami's performance, his confidence in her showed through his sleep as she continued to keep playing.

Driving out to the countryside after the audition with Otoya and Mami, Otoya reminded Yuri of their deal. After mentioning his keeping up his end of the bargain, Yuri then went on to claim that they were already on their date. After he expressed his displeasure with the settings, Mami requested that he play a song on the violin. After playing, Mimi realizes that she could never play in such a way. As Yuri tried to get Mami to think otherwise, she went on to declare that she wished to quit playing. Stating that she only learned the instrument because her parents told her to, she confessed that she never really wanted to play. Otoya declaring this to be his final lesson, went on to say that one listen to the voice from inside and that one should not do something they don't have interest in doing.

Sometime later while Yuri was passing through a church yard, a wedding had just been wrapping up. As she watched on as the bride and groom were leaving, something disrupted the celebration. Getting a better look, the disturbance turned out to be none other than Rook. Unable to save the bride in time, Yuri still decided to take action. fueled by vengeance for her mother, she charged as he stood aimlessly. Unfortunately, he caught her hand as she was about to strike him. Thrown against a door on the other side of the courtyard, Yuri's Fangire Slayer was jammed in the door only inches away from her head as Rook threw it at her. As he got closer to her, Yuri only looked into his eyes with fear before he lost interest and walked off.

Later that day, Yuri told Jiro of her encounter with Rook. After she requested that Jiro lend her IXA, he refused. Even Otoya, in a rare showing, backed up Jiro in Yuri not having IXA. Even thouhg they were feeble attempts to hit on her still. After leaving, she noticed Otoya catching up. When he did, he pulled out the IXA knuckle. As she stood speechless, Otoya handed it over to her, claiming that he'd always be there to help. After apologizing, Yuri slugged Otoya in the gut and ran off to face Rook again.

Eventually finding him in another church, she aimed the IXA knuckle straight at him. But as he walked towards her, she froze up. Wanting to move, yet couldn't, she stayed frozen as Rook came closer, but finally fell to her knees after he eventually walked right past her as though she weren't there to begin with.

Later later on as she stood on a rooftop overlooking the city, Otoya approached her and asked if she finally did away with Rook once and for all. All the while rubbing his stomach from the punch Yuri gave earlier, she lied and claimed that that he escaped. She had him right where she wanted him, but he managed to slip by her.

After again trying to face Rook, but couldn't even bring herself to be in his presence, Yuri went out to ponder while looking out at a river. Soon enough joined by Otoya, he soon implied that the real reason Rook got away was because she was afraid of him. Yuri staying silent so as to not admit, he went on to say that there was nothing wrong with it. That so long as she was aware and accepted her weaknesses, then she'll be fine. When she asked on whether or not her realizing this was the reason he let her have IXA, Otoya didn't answer. Thinking that it was, Yuri further let down even more emotional barriers and weeped on his shoulder.

Sometime later, Jiro decided to talk to Yuri alone. After being shown a ring he bought for her, he asked for Yuri's hand in marriage. After Jiro claimed that when he first saw her they were destined to be with one another, Yuri felt some hesitation. When he quickly slipped the ring on her finger, Yuri thought that it was so all of the sudden and brings up what Shima's opinion on the subject would be. But Jiro claimed to had already brought the matter to his attention. As Jiro made his way off, he simply told Yuri that there was no need to make a speedy decision. If she wanted out, the all she had to do was take the ring off.

Somewhat unhappy that Shima agreed, Yuri complained to him about his decision. As she went on saying that she still had things she wanted to do, Shima retorted saying that even if she does get married, it wouldn't change what she wanted to do and it may actually benefit her. But as that was said Otoya walked in. clearly disagreeing with Shima's enthusiasm for Yuri's marriage.

Clearly not getting any of the answers she's looking for, Yuri goes to talk to one of her other friends. After the friend asked what kind of man asked Yuri to marry her, Jiro unexpectedly walked in. As the friend got a better look at him, she proposed that they go on a group date.

Later on the day of the date, the table was split between three women and three men, one of whom somehow being Otoya. One of the other women, Ayumi, pointed out that Jiro and Yuri really shouldn't be there since they were engaged. However just as Jiro was about to confirm it, Otoya quickly punched his gut and corrected the previous statement as the two were not yet engaged. Quickly after though, Jiro raised Yuri's hand and pointed out the engagement ring. As Otoya tried to express his opinion on the matter further, Jiro quickly kicked his shin under the table. After he fell out, the other woman, Kumi, recognized Otoya from long ago. After remembering that they were classmates in kindergarten, referring to her as his "Sand Woman". But as he tried to claim the kiss she supposedly promised him so long ago, Yuri immediately ceased his actions, claiming them to be rude.

As the date progressed, Ayumi had commented on Jiro's looks and attitude. Sparking some jealousy in Yuri she had grabbed Ayumi by the shoulder and told her not to speak of her fiance ins such a way. Yuri referring to him as such greatly exited him. However as he asked her if she had really accepted his proposal, Otoya bumped in and claimed that she didn't mean it. With Yuri agreeing, this angered Jiro as he soon tried to deliver a kick to Otoya. However as Otoya caught Jiro's kick, the two maniacally laughed at one another.

Sometime later, Yuri was treated by Jiro to a special gift for their marriage. Taking her to the clothing store, Luxur, he offered her anything in the store, despite everything in it being considerably expensive. As Jiro pointed out that she could even purchase a wedding dress from the shop, the two then noticed Kumi in the store as well, but didn't make themselves noticed.

After watching Otoya being manipulated by Kumi the second time, Yuri stood over him, claiming him yet again to be an idiot. As she stated that Kumi didn't have a sick brother, Otoya was still confused. After Yuri explained that Kumi was merely using him as a means of getting money to buy clothes from Luxur, Otoya didn't feel bothered. In fact he expressed relief in that she didn't have an injured brother. Soon after, Shima walked in. After he explained that people who had recently been buying clothes from Luxur had turned up dead. Hearing this, Yuri raced out of Mald'amour.

The next day, after facing the Chameleon Fangire, Yuri spoke to Jiro about her answer to his marriage proposal. As she professed that even though it wasn't that she didn't like him, she just didn't wish to marry. When Jiro expressed curiosity as to why, whether it was because of some kind of womanly pride or because of her fighting the Fangires, she didn't quite give a straight answer. But as she attempted to remove the ring, Jiro then claimed that it was pointless, that they were bonded by fate. However an unbelieving Otoya, who had apparently been near by, then easily removed the ring for her. After stating that Jiro and Yuri had no bond between them, Otoya then cast the ring into the near by lake, much to Jiro's dismay.

Sometime later as Kido made his way into Mald'amour, Yuri and Jiro ganged up on him. Dragging him to a nearby table, they, in a rather unique way, celebrated Kido's birthday. After his blowing out the candles to small cake, the two each presented their gifts to him. Yuri's being a shirt with a Sumo wrestler and Jiro's being a recent album of Onyanko Club's, complete with autographs from various members. Otoya, who was at the bar end of the cafe, took the liberty to bring up that his birthday was coming up soon. After being asked what he wanted, he was stopped short when Yuri said it to be anything but her. This amusing Jiro, noted on how predictable Otoya's patterns were becoming. After he started throwing out possible gift ideas such as noogies or worms, Yuri recalled Otoya's eating omelets quite often.

The next day after Otoya entered Mald'amour and found out of it's newest employees, Yuri was soon noticed cooking. When Otoya asked her as to what it was, she refused to show him. As he soon volunteered to help her, despite her not wanting it, the two unfortunately made a mess in the end, to of which Otoya denied having any fault of.

Later on after Otoya seemed to have been looking for a woman he had been flirting with, Yuri approached him, asking him how many women of destiny he had, since he used the line all the time. After claiming her to be the only real destined woman for him, Jiro showed up telling her to not pay attention to Otoya's shallow characteristics.

The next day, Yuri invited Otoya to try one of her omelet dishes that she had been trying to learn how to make. When he Inquired that she made it for him before he ate it, she flat out denied. After the first bite, he quickly claimed it to be sub par. But after it was apparent that he tried to hide it by then claiming it to be delicious, she told him to tell the truth, which he then did by repeating exactly what he said earlier.

Sometime later Riki asked Yuri to meet him at an outdoor cafe. When she arrived he started to use lines sounded an awful lot like something Otoya would use despite his rather slow manner of talking constantly putting off a high pitch as he spoke into it. After thinking Otoya must have put Riki up to it, even though Riki denied it, Jiro appeared saying that Otoya had left. Appearing and disappearing just like the clouds. However as Yuri refused to believe, he then claimed that the truth was that a Fangire had killed him. Still not buying it, Yuri demanded to know where Otoya was. But as Jiro was apparently in the mood for anything that had to do with Otoya, he simply knocked her unconscious.

A little later as Jiro was trying to embrace Yuri, Otoya showed up and pulled him off. Although glad by Otoya's safety, Yuri was unfortunately surprised by Jiro's transforming into a monster. While Jiro was beating Otoya down, Yuri struggled to get free and come to his aid. When she finally did, both Otoya and Jiro told her not to get in the way. But after she confessed of her feelings for Otoya in front of Jiro, he held her up and claimed that if he couldn't have her, then no one could. Yet despite his threat, ready to strike her down, he didn't. After he released her, assumed his guise and left, Yuri then turned to an unconscious Otoya. Calling to him to make sure he was still alive. Yuri was relieved to see that he soon woke up and asked if he was in heaven.

Sometime later, Yuri treated Otoya to a meal in his own home. Unfortunately though, Otoya seemed to not have been to enthusiastic it was an omelets. Despite Yuri making it because he claimed he liked them, she grew tired of his attitude. But after she took his plate, he picked it right back up and scraped the omelet onto her plate and took it. Placing it in front of him, he went on to claim that anything that she will make, he'd be happy to eat. After he started to eat it, commenting on that it was still a bit plain, Yuri presented Otoya with a gift. Surprised by this rare occasion, Otoya opened it, revealing a watch with the words "From YURI" inscribed on it. After Yuri explained that it was for all the hardships he went through to help her, and to apologize to him. After he had the watch fastened to his wrist, he asked Yuri if she wanted anything. After she asked that she wanted to see the sea, Otoya claimed that there was a sea right with them, his sea of love.

The next day, Shima called Yuri and Otoya into Mald'amour for Yuri to report on the recent events that had occurred previously. After Shima revealed the IXA Knuckle, which had arrived to him from Jiro the previous day, he expressed his surprise at Jiro's not being human. Prompting Otoya to give out the appropriate "I told you so" line, Shima apologized for not believing him. But now with Jiro gone, Shima wanted Otoya to take Jiro's place in the Wonderful Blue Sky Organization, as well as the new user of IXA, much to Yuri's quiet dismay.

Later on at a nearby playground, as Yuri and Otoya hanged around a swing set, Yuri brought up her wanting revenge for her mother. Otoya thinking instead of heading to the beach like they had discussed earlier, they should go and kill Rook. But Yuri insisted they go to Saehama beach, a place she had lost a ring her mother gave her when she was little. Spontaneously, Otoya proposed that he'd go with her to find it. However as Yuri claimed that it was impossible, Otoya told her to believe in him. As he worked up enough momentum on the swing and saying that he can bring forth miracles, he launched himself a great distance and over some nearby guard rails. And much to her surprise, landed successfully on his feet.

Sometime later, after growing tired of waiting for Otoya, she headed to Saehama beach herself. When Yuri finally arrived, she called out for Otoya in case he had already been there. Instead of finding Otoya, she's approached by a woman who for unknown reasons, knows Yuri's name. When the woman insisted on knowing why people fall in love, Yuri explained that when people love and be loved, they can go about living, facing every day one at a time ready for what's in store. But after explaining this, Yuri noticed Otoya swimming in the ocean. Knowing of his inability to swim properly, she goes in after him.

As he layed unconsciousness, Yuri called for him and told him to hang in there. When he finally came to, she asked if he could recognize her. Luckily, he told her that there wasn't any way he could forget the woman of his destiny. After Yuri was relieved to hear that he was alright, Otoya showed her something. The very ring that he promised to retrieve for her.

Sometime later as Yuri and Otoya were making their way home from buying toothbrushes and pajamas and other household necessities, they both noticed a strange fellow standing on a guard rail. Thinking that he was attempting to kill himself, Otoya tried to persuade him down. Unfortunately after it seemed Otoya talked him out of it, they both somehow managed to fall off into the river.

Later on after carrying the stranger to Otoya's home and letting him rest in his bed, the stranger finally awoke. When he asked if the year was indeed 1986, Yuri confirmed it for him. After remarking that the day was now to be a day of future anniversaries, Otoya even went on to preach that in the future it would be a holiday, since the he and Yuri had now started to live together. However the stranger didn't seem to enthusiastic of their happiness and claimed it to be improper for a man and a woman to live under one roof and not be married.

As the day went on, after the stranger explained to Shima that he was the user of the IXA Sytem 22 years in the future and that he came back in time to change things for the better for the Blue Sky Org, Yuri again ran into the stranger down town. Foolishly underestimating her, the stranger tried to attack, but found himself wit his arm pressed against his back. Unfortunately he too was more skilled than he seemed and managed to get Yuri in a pair of handcuffs.

After he phoned in for Otoya, using Yuri as a bargaining chip, Otoya arrived. As Otoya finally gave up the IXA Knuckle and tossing it to him, Yuri freed herself from the cuffs and caught it, much to surprise to the stranger, and tossed it back. When they both slugged the stranger in the gut together, the woman from Saehama beach appeared telling Otoya to stop. After she told him that his hands were for the fine arts and not for dirtying in combat, Yuri yanked him away by the ear telling him not to see her again as she dragged him off.

Sometime later as Yuri and Otoya (mostly Yuri) were cleaning his house, Yuri complained about his lack of helping. Claiming that since his heart was clean, and making another mess all on his own, he didn't need to clean anything else. After shooting back at what each others hearts were filled of, be it cobwebs or mold, Yuri then wondered if the peace they were enjoying would last. As Otoya was thinking that everything was fine at peace, Yuri decided to factor in her being a fighter, which he still saw nothing wrong with. Even bringing up Rook, whom he seemed to have forgot about.

The next day after waiting for Otoya to show up for lunch, Yuri went out looking for him. After finding him losing to Rook in a scuffle, Yuri drew her blade and attacked. Unfortunately despite the many blows that made contact with the Fangire, they were of no affect. After he had enough of her wailing on him, and threw her away. Yuri was for the most part defenseless. As Rook charged to finish her off, Jiro appeared, standing between them. As Jiro claimed that Rook's game wasn't over, he lured the Fangire away from Yuri.

Later on after having her wounds treated at the hospital, Otoya came in to check on her. As Yuri told him to not get in her way of killing Rook Otoya commented that he thought that she was still afraid of him. After she stated that that was exactly why she needed to face him, Jiro entered the room, informing Otoya that Rook was causing a ruckus around a nearby park area. After the two ran out, Yuri soon followed.

As she got to the specified area, she soon saw Rook running about. After a long and tiering run chasing after him, she finally caught up. When she finally did, she was unfortunate to find out that it was Riki in a mock-up Rook outfit having been told to distract Yuri while the others go and Kill Rook. After looking around and finally finding the battle ground, Yuri was shocked to see that not only were Ramon and Riki monsters, but that they along with Otoya and Jiro, all lost to Rook.

Regrouping back at Otoya's, Otoya chided Jiro and the monsters for losing to Rook. As they were at a loss of what to do, Yuri proclaimed that she had an Idea. As she pretended to be chased by Otoya and Jiro through a warehouse with IXA, they ran into Rook, asking them if they knew of anything amusing to do. As Yuri claimed that there was, she showed him the IXA Knuckle. Claiming that it was more important to her than her own life, and that Otoya and Jiro wanted to take it. After Rook inquired if it was really that great and Yuri confirmed, he took it for himself, activating IXA.

After everyone acted as though they were losing to Rook as IXA weighted his strength down since he was technically stronger than the System, IXA's overheating point was finally reached and deactivated. Fooling Rook into being weakened by the system's harmful effects, Otoya got hold of the knuckle and activated IXA after pointing out that it could only be used for a limited time. After landing a few good hits, Otoya held Rook down to let Yuri have a few decent hits on him as well.

As the tide of battle was entirely against Rook, Otoya deactivated IXA and tossed it over to Yuri, enabling her to finally finish him off. After a fierce one on one fight with Rook, just barely loosing to him, Yuri landed a few good hits to Rook's right shoulder with the IXA Knuckle. As he appeared to be slowly vaporizing, Rook claimed that what she did wouldn't kill him and that he'd come back. After Yuri claimed that even if he did come back, even if she wasn't among the living and that she would definitely finish him off, Rook finally disappeared.

Although the days after Rook's defeat seemed to be happy from then on, it wouldn't last for Yuri. Not long after, Otoya began construction of a new Violin wit the help of Maya. After days of doing nothing but watching them, even being ignored when she called out to Otoya. After the violin was finally complete, Otoya had even went so far as to write a new song for Maya. Needless to say it didn't bode well for Yuri. Frustrated and upset, she tried to take it out on her work. After losing the Rat Fangire after a recent attack, she eventually caught up with it as it tried to attack more people. However much like the previous encounter, her strained feelings got the better of her and prevented hr from overtaking the Fangire in battle.

After Otoya had arrived and shot the Rat off with an energy blast from the IXA Knuckle, Yuri jumped him and took it, chasing the Rat Fangire. After she yet again caught up with it, after it took another victim, she activated IXA. While at first she seemed to have the advantage, it wasn't until the Rat pulled out it's gun did it push IXA to it's overheating point, causing her to lose consciousness and deactivating IXA.

Sometime later, Yuri finally came to, with Otoya overhead expressing his relief. As Yuri seemingly had a troubled look on her face from thinking about Otoya with Maya, Otoya asked what the matter was. When Yuri asked how he felt about her, he claimed that the two of them were one, but Yuri didn't believe that. As she pointed out that she didn't have the ability to understand his talents, Otoya didn't see it as important. But Yuri believed that he wanted to be with someone else because they understood it. When Yuri attempted to get out of bed, Otoya asked what she was trying to do. When she claimed that she wanted to talk to Maya, he apparently tried to stop her. After she pushed Otoya away, Yuri grabbed a nearby apple and threw it at him. Catching it, Yuri picked up another and threw it only for Otoya to catch it again. After throwing a pillow, Yuri threw a vase full of flowers at him. Fortunately, Otoya didn't see the vase in time as it flew behind the flowers in mid air, causing it to hit him unconscious.

After looking around for a bit, Yuri finally believed she had finally found Maya, unfortunately after discovering that it was just a woman in a black pancho, Yuri then discovered Otoya had been tailing her. As he inquired as to what Yuri intended to do, she merely claimed that she wished to speak with her. When he asked what she was going to do after meeting Maya, Yuri claimed it wasn't any of his business and went on her way.

When she finally did catch up with Maya, it seemed she had already known that Yuri was looking for her. After Yuri had proclaimed that she wanted to know something from her, she hesitated, causing Maya to request that she just ask it and get it over with. However before she could ask, Jiro, Ramon and Riki showed up and appeared to be picking a fight with Maya. After they reverted to their true forms, Maya amusingly mocked them and then revealed herself to be the Pearlshell Fangire and quickly beat the other monsters down, shocking Yuri.

After going to Otoya's home in an attempt to warn Otoya of Maya's true form, and his confessing that he knew all along, Yuri took a walk around a harbor to catch some air. However unexpectedly, Maya showed up wanting to know what it was Yuri was going to ask her. Ready to fight, Yuri formally introduced herself. After Maya did the same, Yuri drew the IXA Knuckle for activation. However before she could attach it to the belt, Otoya appeared, proposing they all go on a picnic. However after she finally shook him off, Maya was gone.

Later in the day after looking, Yuri finally crossed paths with Maya once again. After seemingly walking past her, Yuri then drew her Fangire Slayer in an attempt to strike Maya. However as she dodged it and every other move Yuri made, including throwing it at her, Yuri then activated the IXA System. Yet even despite with the system's aid, Maya was still able to dodge every kick and punch Yuri made. As she demanded to know why Maya wasn't fighting back, she simply told Yuri that she had no desire to kill her. Not believing it, Yuri still tried to attack until Maya vanished into a large gust of flower petals, causing Yuri to fall back and deactivating IXA.

Sometime later as Maya found Yuri in Otoya's home just before she attempted to play the Bloody Rose, she told Yuri to stop. As she asked her to hand it over, Yuri demanded that May fight her, or else she'd destroy the Bloody Rose. After commenting on that Yuri wasn't her cheeky self as usual, she activated IXA and attacked. After placing the violin down in a safe place, Maya finally reverted to her true form, but unfortunately threw Yuri through a door outside. As the scuffle went on, they were soon interrupted by a strange man. After he quickly dispatched Yuri through a blast of strange dark energy, she decided to retreat.

Later on after watching enough to witness Otoya's confession of love for Maya and finding Otoya fall in battle against the strange man, Yuri tried to defend him. However after trying to attack him she was easily hit away. As she got to her feet, the stranger lifted Otoya with one hand and told Maya that he'd finish up with Otoya in a more convenient location. With that, Yuri tried to attack again, but was held back by Maya. leaving her to do nothing but watch as the man vanished with an unconscious Otoya.

Later on, Yuri found Maya too herself in a church. Asking where Otoya was taken to, Maya simply replied that it'd be better for the both of them in the long run if they just forget about what'd happened with Otoya. However Yuri had no intention of doing so and flat out asked Maya for help to rescue him. But unfortunately Maya was not in the same spirits, claiming that any action against King was futile. As Yuri continued to plea, Maya asked why she was so concerned, despite that Otoya betrayed her. After Yuri claimed that she still had love for Otoya, and didn't want to discard those feelings, Maya simply walked away.

Sometime later, as Yuri prepared to rescue Otoya, Maya appeared at the door, asking her if she was prepared to die. As Yuri nodded, Maya simply thought of her as foolish. Later on, as Maya led Yuri though an oddly colored forest, The Forest of Bewilderment. She warned Yuri to be on her guard as the forest had a guardian, and that she was unable to revert to her true form while in the forest.

As they progressed, the two eventually noticed that they had been walking in circles after noticing the same landmark in the ground. As a voice claimed that entrance into the forest was not allowed unless it pleased, it soon revealed itself to be the Silkmoth Fangire. After continuing to fight it, making contact proved to be rather difficult as it constantly projected itself through illusions each time Yuri attacked. After seemingly being attacked by giant versions of the Fangires hands, the Silkmoth then seemingly appeared to finish Yuri off personally, Maya then appeared between them. As it desired to know what Maya was up to, and Maya not saying, the Silkmoon decided to attack, thinking Maya's inability to return to her true form being an advantage. However Maya easily forced the Fangire to retreat after blasting her with energy emitted from her tattoo. Although grateful for Maya's assistance, Yuri requested that she not help anymore.

Making their way further through the forest, Maya claimed that she heard Otoya's violin. Unable to hear anything, Yuri never the less continued to follow Maya. After finding and entering Doran, they arrived just before King as about to deliver the death blow. As King once again donned his strange armor, claiming Maya had lost her pride as a Fangire, and Maya reverted to her true form, the two did battle. With this, Yuri and Otoya used this distraction to escape. However just as they got outside of Doran, they were cut off by the Silkmoth Fangire. As Yuri pulled out the IXA Knuckle to fight the Fangire, Otoya insisted on doing so instead. After activating IXA, Otoya charged the Fangire, evading it's trident and pinning it in a place it couldn't disperse. Using the Broken Fang attack, Otoya easily destroyed the Fangire.

Sometime later, Yuri came to visit Otoya in the hospital. As he admitted that he was surprised that of all people that she came to rescue him, and lamented on how he had been treating her recently. After he surmised that "The power of love" was what prevailed in the end, Otoya noticed Yuri's cheerfulness, openly wondering if something good had happened recently. After Yuri had told him that she couldn't have rescued him alone, Otoya got out of bed and started to get dressed. Saying that he was checking himself out so that he could save Jiro, Otoya was suddenly stopped as a doctor walked into the room, telling him that he wasn't well enough to leave. As he forced Otoya back into bed, insisting that he needed to stay, Otoya inquired as to who the doctor was as he noticed he wasn't the regular done. After saying that he was new and told Otoya that he needed to remain in the hospital for at least a year, Otoya and Yuri made their way out anyway. As they walked on, Otoya and Yuri came across his proper doctor. As he showed Otoya his tests results, they were very much contrary to what the previous doctor had said, and was indeed allowed to check out.

The next day, after packing up her things in Otoya's home and remembering the good times she spent with him, she made her way through town. However as she got to a walkway tunnel, someone approached her and tried to tell her to not give up on Otoya's affections. As she tried to walk away from him, he claimed that she and Otoya were supposed to be with one another. Telling her to have more faith in herself, he pleaded with to her to try and patch things up with Otoya.

And with that, she called for Otoya to meet her at a local cafe. When Otoya arrived at the cafe where Yuri waited, he asked her what it was she wanted to talk about. As Yuri claimed she had a gift for him, Otoya stated he'd take anything she'd give him. The gift she wanted to give was her goodbye. As he tried to speak, she told him that he didn't need to say anything. Going on to say that she was happy to have met him, and still was, she felt that for his chance at happiness, this was what to be done. But as she got up, she stepped on his foot. Smiling, she admitted to intentionally doing so, and went on her way.

Later on, after coming across and taking Maya to another location after fending the Poler Bear Fangire away, Maya confessed that she had lost her power. Unsure of what to do with herself, Yuri proposed she go to Otoya. And with that, Otoya soon came, just after Yuri had told Maya that she called him and left. As she was on her way, she ran into the stranger again. As he insisted that she not give up, Yuri soon found herself dragged back to Otoya and Maya.

When they arrived, the stranger stated that Maya and Otoya couldn't be with one another as he claimed that he was their son, and that he wasn't supposed to be born. As Otoya thought this to be complete rubbish, the stranger once again begged them to not meet with one another any more. As Otoya speculated that it was all just a trick set up by the Fangires, the stranger insisted that if he wasn't born then someone wouldn't die. Still thinking it was a lie, Otoya asked him why he was already grown up if he was his son. Claiming that he was from twenty-two years from then, he then tried to back his claim by showing him a button Maya supposedly gave him when he was little. Not believing it, Otoya punched the guy unconscious.

Carrying him to a gazebo near windmills. Yuri asked him if he was alright when he woke up, and continued to ask him why he said what he did earlier. Claiming that what he said was true, that he came back to prevent someone from dying, he once again set out to prevent them from being together.

Sometime later, as it was pouring rain, Yuri had lost track Kido's dog. However, after she finally found him, Otoya approached her, asking if she had finally gotten over her fear of dogs. After getting cover from the rain, he commented on how well she looked, recalling how down she was when they broke up. As she claimed that she already got over him, stating that other men were already interested in her, she asked him if he came to win her back. Claiming that wasn't it, he asked her for the recipe for her omelet was. After asking if he rally did like it, she said that in order to bring out the flavor one needed to add poison, which Otoya went with in his usual careless way. As Yuri said to herself that the ingredient was love, Otoya went about dancing in the rain and puddles with an umbrella, proclaiming to Yuri that he was glad to have met her. After Otoya expressed his though of her looking best with a smile, he told her to get home before she got sick. Just as he predicted the rain would stop, it did indeed do as he said. Noticing a rainbow, she turned to point it out to him, but as she did, he was gone. Leaving nothing but the red umbrella he had danced with in his place.
